Cub Scout Pack 253 - Mt. Juliet, TN

The Pack participated in Jackson Hills' fun 4th of July parade again this year!

The pack participated in the Cumberland River District, Middle Tennessee Council Spring Camporee and Spring Cub and Family. We ate s'mores and hot chocolate, fired a catapult, put on a skit, played games, ate more s'mores and hot chocolate, and had fun together.

The Mt. Juliet Police Department taught us so much about what they do and our community.

Our Pinewood Derby Shop Day was an afternoon of designing | cars, cutting blocks, talking about rules, and looking forward to the upcoming race!

The pack visited Adventure Science Center this past weekend!

We had a great hike yesterday!

The Webelos den camped last weekend with local Mt. Juliet troops to learn about Scouts BSA. The weather was perfect and the scouts had a great time cooking, learning, and playing with the troops.

Last weekend the Webelos & AOL dens visited Treetop Adventure Park. They traversed bridges, climbed a lot of ladders, and zipped across two giant zip lines! (The adults did extremely well and felt great the next day.)

Congratulations to all the scouts that earned their Bobcat rank!

We were out across Mt. Juliet this weekend meeting the community that supports our Scouts. Thank you!

We held out first hike of the year last weekend! The scouts learned about Leave No Trace and inspected sinkholes. Our next hike is 11/11 at Long Hunter State Park.

Old and new scouts came together last night for our first pack meeting of the school year.

Water Day!

We had a great meeting tonight with interested families. Come see us Sunday from 1-3 at Charlie Daniels Park Shelter 3 if you missed us.

Our team visited Stoner Creek today to share all the fun that Cub Scouts can offer. Visit us tomorrow night to learn more.

Today we hiked a new Long Hunter State Park trail to many of us. We saw a number of trees down from recent storms. The overcast day made for a rare, comfortable July afternoon.

We participated in the Jackson Hills neighborhood’s 4th of July parade and met a lot of new friends!

Our Pack had the pleasure of building two gaga ball pits for Stoner Creek Elementary with the gracious donations of Lebanon Animal Hospital, Carlson Insurance Group, and Stoner Creek Elementary - PTO.

Our Pack joined units from across the Council to place flags a flag for each of the markers in the Nashville National Cemetery to honoring the brave heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice. Wishing you a meaningful Memorial Day.

We presented the colors tonight for the SCE 5th grade graduation!

Our Scouts participated in our Rank and Crossover meeting and then worked together to shoot water rockets!

Great time at our Pack Camping Trip!

The Bear Den hiked Long Hunter's Dear Trail this afternoon. They enjoyed exploring the shore in the sunshine and finding evidence of animals and insects.

Last night the pack assembled and delivered gifts to the SCE staff to thank them for their hard work. Thank you everyone!
