The Carroll Shelby Automotive Technology program combines classroom instruction and hands-on experience. The program teaches the operation and repair of the eight Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) areas in the National Technicians Certification Master Technician Program. For students interested in performance vehicles we offer a performance academy where students are taught engine blueprinting and machining, performance tuning, and chassis tuning.

On the red carpet we have Peter Miles, Rich MacDonald and Alex Gurney. (Sons of some well known race drivers). Let’s not forget this awesome GT 40 in Ken Miles livery. Peter Miles is predominately featured in the movie along with his dad Ken Miles and mom Mollie. A great moving film that captures the lives and times of the Miles family and the Shelby era.

Tickets are officially on sale for the 2024 Carroll Shelby Celebration Dinner that is part of the Texas Hot Link Festival on April 27th. The dinner will be held at the Northeast Texas Community College Culinary Arts School in downtown Pittsburg. A delicious meal with be catered by NTCC students/faculty and Jim Marietta will be the featured guest. Just go to www.ntcc.edu/shelbydinner24 and click “Get Tickets” to purchase your seats today.
There is also a silent auction featuring Shelby memorabilia. It is currently live and you can bid at www.ntcc.edu/shelbyauction24. You do not need to be present at the dinner to participate in the auction.
All proceeds from both the dinner and auction will benefit NTCC scholarships. We hope to see you there!
