The Mount Prospect Sister Cities Commission is composed of fifteen members appointed by the mayor with the consent of the Board of Trustees.
The Mount Prospect Sister Cities Commission is a member of Sister Cities International, which is a nonprofit citizen diplomacy network that creates and strengthens partnerships between U.S. and international communities. They strive to build global cooperation at the municipal level, promote cultural understanding and stimulate economic development.
