If the 100-degree weather didn’t tip you off, we’re here to tell you that summer has arrived! We kicked off last weekend with a Current BBQ for all ages, where we connected with friends (old and new!) across life stages. Later, our Arts & Crafts group honed their floral arranging skills and took home some beautiful blooms 🌷. Who had more fun at CurrentKids Camp: the kids or the adults?! 😂 We are so grateful for our all-star volunteers who took off work to be crew leaders, Bible teachers, sports coaches, slime facilitators, craft creators, and more! Kids Camp is more than a fun opportunity, it’s like going on a short-term missions trip in our own backyard. So much eternal ROI! If you couldn’t join this year, don’t worry; we’re doing it all again next year!

What an incredible baptism Sunday! We had two powerful stories: one of our Current Youth (who also shared her testimony at Kid’s Camp last week) and another who came to faith through Explore God last fall. Praising God for the way He works so uniquely in each of our lives. ❤️

What a joy-filled few weeks! Launching two gatherings has been an exciting and faith-building moment for us as a church: from meeting new friends to welcoming Youth in our worship gathering to watching all of our Current teams come together to make this big transition happen.

We are expectant that God will continue moving in more life changing ways this year, and we are grateful he allows us to partner with Him! Love you, Current family!

Yesterday’s gathering was extra sweet; from playtime in the nursery to birthday celebrations in CurrentYouth to a beautiful worship set and time together in community. We are thankful to start every week with the Current Family!

Who has this much fun in the middle of a storm ☔️? Team Current! We loved traveling back to the 80’s and celebrating our super rad volunteers as we prepare to launch two gatherings in March!

Who else is still feeling happiness overload from yesterday?! Together, we got to wrap hundreds of gifts to care for local trafficking survivors, at-risk youth, and people experiencing homelessness. We hosted a toy shop for foster families to pick up gifts for their children. Even CurrentKids served with us, writing Christmas cards to encourage our neighbors in Jesus' name!

Yesterday, we had the privilege of hearing from our newest local non-profit partner, , who is doing courageous work fighting human trafficking in our Bay Area neighborhoods. Thank you, Vanessa and Sable, for sharing your powerful stories!

It's our favorite time of year at Current: Impact season! We are excited to launch Impact 2024 (currentsv.church/impact) this Sunday with a visit from the founder of our newest local non-profit partner, .

Impact giving increases our ability to invest in strategic gospel partnerships every year. 100% of Impact goes outside of Current's walls to church planting, disaster relief, and local community initiatives ministering to foster children, neighbors experiencing homelessness, trafficking survivors, refugees, and high-needs youth. By God's grace, our impact goal is 20x what it was when we launched seven years ago!
