Beauty For Ashes Transitional Home for Women
In 2004, Beauty for Ashes Transitional Home opened its doors to women with children in crisis, in Madison County.
In January 2018, BFA merged with Muncie Mission and now continues to do their work as a ministry provided by Muncie Mission.
A generous family from Madison County provided a delicious Thanksgiving dinner for the ladies and children at Beauty for Ashes! We are so grateful for our community that supports our residents during the holiday season!
How do you remind yourself that Jesus is always with you no matter what trials you are facing?
One resident that is staying at Beauty for Ashes wrote this poem out and hung it on her door. Now every time she enters her room she is reminded of this truth.
We are so grateful for this generous donation of toilet paper from Florida Station Church of God in Anderson!
Together we can make a difference in our community!
What do you do to relax?
One of our residents has chosen to fill her time with gardening. She chose to plant sunflowers and squash and has been rewarded with a beautiful crop!
Finding transportation can be a difficult task when you do not have your own vehicle. Recently, Misty (current BFA resident) was able to get a car. Now, she enjoys driving to church, Bible study, work, Brionna's Hope, and helping other residents with transportation needs.
Beauty for Ashes is urgent need of paper towels and 13 gallon trash bags. If you would like to donate these items, you can drop them off at the BFA office or shop our Amazon wishlist (https://a.co/8G3EXmd) to have the items directly shipped to our office. Thank you for supporting BFA and making a difference in your community!
How do you remind yourself of the Truth?
This is one of the ways that a resident reminds herself who she is in Christ and the love He has for her!
We would like to say THANK YOU to Women of Color for donating paper towels and hand sanitizer! This donation was very timely!
