Embark on an exciting robotic journey to Mars! In this class, young minds will explore the fascinating world of robotics through hands-on activities, engaging projects, and creative problem-solving. From building Mars rovers to navigating simulated Martian terrains, kids will discover the wonders of space exploration while honing their STEM skills. Get ready for an adventure where imagination meets technology, as we inspire the next generation of young innovators and explorers! *Fee includes supplies (includes a take home individual robot project) and instructor fees! ASL-THE BASICS!
Wednesdays, 7/10-7/31 from 3:30-4:45pm

Learn the basics of ASL in this program taught by an ASL 3 level student, Elizabeth Kish. You will learn things like the alphabet, colors, simple phrases, and more! There will be some fun games and activities to further your ASL knowledge. Ages: 8-12

Interested in hosting a private pool party after hours at Munster Pool?

Parties can begin as early as 6:30pm and must be scheduled for at least 2 hours. Fees are based on residency and number of guests attending. Private parties are required to complete a questionnaire before reservations are taken. Email [email protected] for your questionnaire. Upon approval, you will be contacted for credit card payment. All payments must be made in full at time of reservation.

BARK IN THE PARK

Calling all dog lovers and furry friends! Join us for this tail-wagging good time where we celebrate everything canine. This dog-friendly event is a paw-some opportunity for you and your four legged companion to discover the latest dog products, treats, and services. Demonstrations will be provided throughout the event by local organizations. Lucky Dog Lure Coursing is back for $10/ run.

INCREDIBLE BATS AND MORE
Wednesday, 7/31 from 6-7:30pm

Fee: $15
Incredible Bats will bring bats, rats, skunks, millipedes, sugar gliders, a sloth, armadillo, fennec fox, bunny, hedgehog, wooly possum, scorpion, tarantula, ball python, and a king snake.
The sloth with be on display only with a keeper, there will be a table with the rest of the animals where staff can guide in interactions with the patrons, and there will be a playpen set up for the rabbit, skunks, armadillo, and hedgehogs. Registration fee is per person! Pre-Registration is required- Registration deadline: July 19th. Ages: 2+

This salad making competition is our "summer" version of a Chili Cook Off. Whether you wanted to make a Taffy Apple Salad or an Anti-Pasta Salad, OR a Salad that only you know exists, just make it winner worthy. There will be judges and prizes, so you really must bring your A Game! As a judge. You will get the opportunity to sample 10 salads and then meet with the judges panel to determine our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

Calling all young nature enthusiasts and aspiring gardeners! Embark on an exciting journey that will be sure to inspire young gardeners to appreciate a variety of plants. Join Fun4All for hands-on learning, creativity, and fun during our Plant Pioneers Program. Students will learn the fundamentals of indoor gardening including plant care and the importance of sunlight, nutrients, and water. Students will get the chance to get their hands dirty as they design terrariums and learn about companion plants in their very own herb gardens. Ages: 6-12

DONNA REED LUNCH AND SHOW

Most people know Donna Reed, the All-American woman, from her TV series The Donna Reed Show.
Join Storyteller Lynn Rymarz as she shares the beginnings of Donna’s life growing up on a farm in Iowa, heading to California to go to college, her early interest in acting and how she ended up signing a movie contract with MGM Studios. She enjoyed stardom in Hollywood movies including It’s a Wonderful Life, co-starring Jimmy Stewart, and From Here to Eternity, which earned her an Academy Award. Lynn will share Donna’s role as wife and mother, and her involvement in Another Mother for Peace group during the Vietnam War.
Photographs and books will be shared. Ages: 50+

SOCIAL CENTER RENTALS

Located in Community Park, the Social Center is the perfect place for your family gatherings, showers, parties or business meetings. The center holds 125 people, is fully accessible and offers a kitchen, two meeting areas, tables, chairs and an outdoor patio.
REQUIREMENTS
At least a 2-hour minimum
Must be 21+ to reserve.
All reservations must be made in full in person at the Park office.
Hourly Rate - $70R/$105 NR
The time rented MUST include both your set-up and clean-up time.
In addition to the hourly rate, a security deposit and 7% tax will be charged.

This camp is for children who want a modified tennis experience. During each session, skills will be learned through a fun and interactive environment. Join this camp and your tennis skills will improve in no time. Activities will be broken down by age and ability. Friday is used as a rain makeup date if needed. Ages: 5-14
