WADO KI KARATE BEGINNER/ ADVANCED

Wado-Ki Karate places an emphasis on proper attitude, discipline, self-confidence, coordination and flexibility. The physical aspect of this sport is a healthy activity that teaches readiness. Uniforms and certifications are available from the instructor for an additional fee. This year-round program is designed to take the students all the way to black belt and is a multi-generational program. (There is family participation) Classes are split according to age and rank level. A check or cash need to be made payable to Ben Hillis. Ages: 4-6 and 6+

CPR CERTIFICATION

You will learn how to recognize the need for and how to perform CPR and use the AED for both adults/children. You will also learn how to try and relieve a foreign body airway obstruction for choking victims of all ages. There will be video segments and hands-on practice to enforce the skills. The fee includes the ECSI (Emergency Care and Safety Institute) book, certification card, manikin use, instructor and program supplies. These certifications are good for 2 years. (Recertification is available on the same day.) Ages: 18+

Desilu Studios also produced many other major shows during television’s early years. After I Love Lucy, she and Desi produced and starred in the Lucy—Desi Comedy Hour. They eventually divorced, but she went on to star in a number of solo successful projects on television and the big screen. These open-air shelters can be reserved for 4-hours or all day based on your need from dawn to dusk. Alcohol, grilling and open fires are prohibited. All shelters have port-a-potty use except Centennial and Community shelters, which have indoor restrooms. Groups of 15 or more must obtain a permit to use the facilities.

Wedding Packages include a 2-hour wedding, 1-hour rehearsal, 50 white chairs (stage has bench seating) and site supervisor on duty. Facilities available: Centennial Park Gardens, Centennial Park Stage or Heritage Park Gazebo. If using Centennial Park - you will be emailed QR codes to use for both your rehearsal and wedding to comp guest parking.

Stop by the main entrance of the school Sunday between 10AM-12PM to see a special guest in our photo booth. Concessions available by the Munster Bandbackers. FREE admission and parking. Enter in thru A, J, K or Q entrances. From 10am-12pm on Sunday, a special visitor will be located at the Main Entrance photo booth.

MUNSTER RUEDA DE CASINO

Rueda de Casino is a traditional Cuban music group dance which requires a minimum of two couple to work. Steps are easy to learn and incorporate while following the orders called out by the leader. The spectrum of dance moves are broad and a lot of fun. Registration is per couple – can be friend or spouse. The thing stands out in Rueda de Casino: it’s the easiest way to learn the ever-so-popular, authentic and contagious Cuban-style Salsa. Open to 16+. No Class 10/31 or 11/7.

This 2-day course, hosted by Sanitized on Safety, includes instruction, book and exam. Meets Indiana/Illinois Food Manager certification requirements. Indiana law requires that all licensed food service establishments have at least ONE person certified in food safety who is responsible for each physical business location. Illinois law requires that all food service establishments have one Certified Food Manager Protection Manager in a food service facility per shift during operating hours.
