Fall is such a busy season, especially for young families. Calendars are packed full and the on-the-go shuffle from activity to activity seems nonstop! It is in this time of busyness that we are extra grateful for our Connected Moms community, and the way that our fellowship allows us to briefly pause, rest, and take a collective breath. 🙏

Come to me, all who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn from me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light. Matthew 11:28-30

With joyful hearts we watched as Fr. Tim Melton was installed as Rector (Senior Pastor) of Christ Church this past Sunday. Tim has been at Christ Church for five years, first serving as Associate Pastor, and then leading our congregation throughout our recent interim period. We give thanks and praise to the Lord for guiding this entire process. And, we were thrilled to celebrate this beautiful new beginning alongside Tim and the entire Melton family! 🙌🙏

Our community SHOWED UP for today's Blood Drive in a big way! With a completely full schedule of donors, the American Red Cross collected a record number of units for drives held at Christ Church - 37 total units!!! 🩸❤️

We are so appreciative of each of our donors, the volunteers who set up and brought in baked goods, and the team at the ARC who made the drive such a great success.

We hope to see you at our next Blood Drive on January 15, from 9AM - 2PM!

Dear family and friends of Christ Church Murrells Inlet, we are all aware of the unimaginable disaster, destruction, and loss of life left in the wake of Hurricane Helene. Certainly, we want to do all that we are able to aid in the healing and rebuilding process.

We had a fantastic turnout for our September Women's Gathering! These Saturday mornings spent together truly help us to grow deeper in our love and appreciation for one and other. They also open our eyes to the beautiful ways that the Lord is working, mercifully, in each of our lives. We hope you can join us for our next Women's Gathering taking place on October 12th, at the church, at 9AM. 🙏💗

On this day, 19 years ago, Christ Church held its first service. Praise the Lord! We are continually in awe of the ways that the Holy Spirt has worked, and is working, within our church walls and far beyond. The Lord has provided for us time and time again. "Every blessing You pour out, I'll turn back to praise .... Blessed be the name of the Lord, blessed be Your glorious name!" 🙏🌱💒

A big thank you to the men of Christ Church and the F3 workout community! They put out the pine straw and mulch all around the church on Saturday morning. It was a tremendous blessing and we are so very grateful! 🙌

Please join us this Saturday at 8:30 AM for a church landscaping project! 🌱 We ask that volunteers bring gloves, a rake and tarps if they have them. Bring a friend or neighbor, too! Many hands make light work. 🙏
