Tori Collins has been located.

The Kentucky State Police Pikeville Post is asking for the public’s assistance as part of an ongoing missing person investigation.

KSP Post 9 was contacted on August 27, 2023, regarding a missing juvenile in Pike County. The initial investigation indicated Tori Collins, 17 years old of Johns Creek, KY, was last seen on August 27, 2023 in the Alleghany community of Pike County. She is described as a white female, 5’9” tall, 120 lbs., with red hair and brown eyes.

Anyone with information about her location is asked to contact KSP Pikeville Post at 606-433-7711.

The investigation is ongoing by Post 9 Trooper Matthew Cornett.

It’s been a wild journey but today is the day. We finally get to share Appalachian Bouldering Center with our Southwest Virginia and Northeast Tennessee communities. Our aim for this space is to bring a fantastic bouldering facility and excellent route setting to the region, but also to be more than another climbing gym. ABC will be a place where folks can find easy access to this region’s climbing community, make connections and make plans to get outside and explore. Appalachian Bouldering Center is first and foremost is a facility for climbers by climbers and it’s truly our passion that got us to this point. Before we ever dreamed of opening a gym we were developing boulders and crags throughout Southwest Virginia. We hope this facility acts as a place to help local climbers connect to the surrounding climbing resources that we are so fortunate to have. We hope you will join us today at ABC to help us celebrate our Open House, do some climbing, and watch Reel Rock with us.
