☀️ If you will be viewing the solar eclipse today, only do so with ‘eclipse glasses’ that meet international standard ISO 12312-2. Regular sunglasses will NOT keep you protected. Nanticoke Eye Specialists has complimentary glasses to help you view the eclipse safely (*update-we are out of glasses*). Don’t forget to keep your pets indoors with curtains/blinds closed during the eclipse as well. Enjoy! 😎

🤓Our practice has partnered with the United Way of Wyoming Valley for the See to Succeed program which gives uninsured local children eye exams and glasses at no cost to them. We have provided care to over 800 students already! Unfortunately we still have many children to help by the end of 2024 and are no longer receiving funding from our partner who provides the frames/lenses. Together with the United Way, we are committed to making sure these children are not left behind! Dr. Allie Wylam is instrumental at performing many of these exams and Dr. Cindy Charnetski is part of the United Way’s Annual Campaign Committee and they are asking for your help to continue to provide exams and glasses for our local children.
