Hi Farmington!

We are actively looking for nominations of President and Vice President of our volunteer HOA board. Commitments for the President role include attending quarterly board meetings, writing the President letter for the newsletters released 3 times per year, and planning and/or supporting other board members and volunteers as they plan and host events for our community.

The Vice President role involves supporting the President and participation in four board meetings annually. Responsibilities include providing input to committees, engaging with our community and assisting with special events. The VP has historically taken the lead on special projects such as the Garage Sale or hosting the annual Volunteer Party, however, we're open to considering other ideas based on the Volunteer's interests.

If you are interested in or have any questions about either of the positions, please send a message to this page or reach out directly to any of the current board members by May 1st. Thank you!

Teal Pumpkin Project 10/19/2022

Hi Farmington families, this year we would like to start the Teal Pumpkin project in our neighborhood for children with food allergies during Halloween Trick or Treat. Participating homes will provide non-food treats to anyone who would like it. 1 in 13 children have food allergies, and some have life threatening allergic reactions. We would like to make Halloween safe and enjoyable for all children in the neighborhood. For more information on the Teal Pumpkin Project, please see the link below. You can also use this link the add your house to the Teal Pumpkin Map. Jen Fitzenberger will make a neighborhood specific map and/or list of participating homes and send it out before Halloween, so food allergy families know where it is safer for them to Trick or Treat. The Brookdale neighborhood in Naperville has had great success with this project. If you choose to participate this year or have any questions, please also send your address to Jen Fitzenberger at [email protected].

To all Farmington Families:

Considering this challenging time, the Farmington Homeowners Association will delay distribution of its May newsletter until later in the summer. The May newsletter, which goes to all Farmington residents, is the last one of our fiscal year and contains the dues and board election forms. Dues payments and the board election will be postponed until the newsletter is distributed. The board also has decided to reduce dues for the 2020-2021 fiscal year from $25 to $20. In the meantime, the current board members remain in place, although the secretary position is vacant and a volunteer would be appreciated! For any additional Farmington news, please continue to check our page. Stay safe, be well and let’s all look out for one another. Thank you.
