Recorded at Steve Albini's legendary Electrical Audio studio in Chicago, we utilized a vintage 1971 Ludwig Maple Thermogloss drum kit, along with a combination of early '70s black label Paiste 2002s and late '60s Giant Beat Cymbals, all mirroring the same sizes as Bonham's set up. In addition to capturing Bonham's sonic fingerprint as accurately as possible, George also recorded eight different sessions, each tracked at a different bpm and feel, paying homage to different Led Zeppelin songs.

Decades in the making, the library was recorded at Vancouver’s Bocce Recording, under the thoughtful guidance of producer Mark Powers and engineer John Morgan Askew, and encompasses 57 unique, classic, vintage, and antique snare drums, offering a sonic palette of 1,425 pre-blended samples for you to use individually or as round robins in your DAW.

Also included are the original 7,125 samples captured from all mics involved in the process, giving you a grand total of 8,550 samples to use as you choose. About Chris Kimmerer:
Toronto-born, Chris Kimmerer relocated to Nashville in 2003. He hit the ground running, immediately touring with Christian artists (Sonicflood, Steven Curtis Chapman, David Phelps), Country Artists (Josh Thompson, Steel Magnolia, Eden's Edge), and working busily in the Nashville studio world. Currently, on tour with Thomas Rhett, Chris also owns and operates The Brown Owl studio in Nashville, where he hubs a lot of his production gigs.
