Throwback to Imbolc. It only took us 3 years to figure out how to fold a Brigid’s cross…
Photos from this year’s Samhain Dumb Supper honoring departed loved ones and ancestors. This was our second year taking up this tradition as a coven. It’s somber, beautiful, and magical. 🖤
Had an amazing time at yesterday! It was the first time the event has been in person since 2019, and it was so lovely to be surrounded by community.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by and said hi, and participated in our “Pocket Spell Donation Bar.”
I’ll be reaching out soon to those who asked for more info!
Hard relate 😅 but we try!
We had an amazing Beltane celebration this year and were also able to celebrate our official 4 year coven anniversary! Photos to come, but first, soaking in some sunshine and appropriate witchcraft, waterside!
Taking in nature in all its glory!
A few of our members will be attending Cauldron Fest this week! We’d love to meet up! Let us know if you’re attending - feel free to PM.
Happy Transgender Day of Visibility!
You are loved! You are valued! And you are and wanted! We are proud of you for being your authentic self!

(PS- this artist has a whole Ride With Pride witch series that’s totally adorable! Link in comments.)
I was so grateful to be able to celebrate outdoors for Ostara. It ended up colder than expected, but the park next to the lake was still lovely for a Spring ritual. We welcomed in Spring with an egg hunt and blessings shared among friends.
I’m looking forward to more outdoor adventures this season hopefully! Keep your eye on this page if you’re interested in meeting up with us sometime 💜
Blessed be,
Ashley

How would everyone feel about planning a coven day of service to help clean up the park where we enjoyed Ostara today?
To new followers: we see you! Thank you for following along! If you’ve met me (Ashley/ Tarte) in person, I’ve likely warned you I’m terrible at updating our pages + blog, but thank you for following along anyway!
I’d love to hear from you so drop a comment (or even better a gif) below to let me know how we met / how you found us!
Merry meet!

On this New Moon, here are some belated Samhain photos:
This was our first time incorporating a Dumb Supper. I was honestly nervous about pulling off a silent dinner (especially as some of us have auditory / sensory issues / misophonia). It ended up being absolutely lovely, though. Our empty seat was placed at the head of the table and surrounded by photos and mementos of lost love ones. We had paper and a pen at each place setting, and everyone ended up writing a private note throughout the dinner. There was some intense candle crackling and a few tears shed. We followed with an “unmasking” ritual to challenge us to live authentically. The group decided this dinner must be part of our Samhain tradition moving forward, and I couldn’t agree more.
Happy belated Samhain, witches!

A few of us had the privilege of attending Pagan Unity Festival last weekend. I finally had the chance to write about the experience!
If you've never been able to attend, it's definitely an adventure! Let us know if you were there (or have been in the past!)
To Days of Inspiration I promised a blog post, so here goes... but no promises on where we are going! The last few months, I've really been searching for guidance on the direction of the Coven. It's really a journey we've been on since inception. I've practiced with a few other groups in the past, and from the experience....
Blessed Solstice, Merry Litha, and Happy Midsummer! Our group won’t be gathering until later this week to celebrate both midsummer and the Strawberry moon, however one of our members made the suggestion of making a sun tea to honor the solstice! (Though side note- there has been much debate amongst our group on what constitutes a “tea,” because we do have a Brit in our midst, lol!)
This “tea” is really more of a lemonade, but it seems perfect for celebrating the solstice. Inspired by a recipe from “Healing Herbal Teas” by Sarah Farr, it’s made of lemon, mint (both sweet and pineapple), rosemary, hibiscus, and ginger. I plan to sweeten it with honey and drink over ice.
I hope everyone has a lovely holiday. I have some updates to come that I will hopefully be sharing later today about adventures at Pagan Unity Festival!
Blessed be!

It’s witchin’ time!
Blessed Beltane friends! Today we are not only celebrating this holiday, it’s also 3 years since Coven of the Wild Roses was formed! Happy anniversary Roses! (Photo credit unknown)
with an wife- quite a combo 😂😂
Call out your sign!
We are still not back to in person meetings yet. And while we haven’t done as a great of a job meeting for every Moon or Sabbat, when we do get together, it’s lovely. Miss group practice though.
Any digital gathering tips ?

In the darkened tower of the night
That has held sway
These many months unbound,
Comes now the struggle of the returning light,
And promise of fair Springtime’s
golden crown.
As longest night gives way to dawn’s embrace
And hope emerges from
The dark anew,
The Lady once again reclaims Her place
and Winter’s shadow fades
like morning dew.
-Galen Gillotte, Book of Hours: Prayers to the Goddess
Today is not only the Solstice, but /two/ of our members' birthdays. In addition, we just recently celebrated officially welcoming in one of our members, so it’s especially sad to spend Yule apart. And though each or our families will be honoring the day separately, we will likely all be sweeping away many of the same things.
I love this book because whenever I lack for a ritual, it’s easy to pick up and find a beautiful prayer. It also has the most perfect meditation for Yule of 2020: a reminder that Light will eventually overcome the Dark.
2020 has been a dark year for so many. As we turn the wheel, may we usher in something so much greater!
Blessed Yule and a Happy Solstice from our homes to yours, wherever you may be.
Don’t invite the pixies if you don’t know the rules! ✨⭐️✨
Interesting! I’ve always wondered about the reason it was a tomato. Have you heard this before?
Some much prettier photos from our Mabon ritual (and ritual room). Just a little bit of magic. 🍂⭐️
(Ps- that rose is real and not dried! Is it not the prettiest thing!)

We love a good character/zodiac profile 😂

Mabon blessings and happy fall y’all!
It was a blessing to celebrate as coven over the weekend. Unfortunately we were down a few coven of the coven fam, and there was an underlying somber tone. At every ritual for the past year or so, we have lit a candle in honor of RBG, praying for her health and continued guidance of equality and justice in this country. Her loss has left many of us with fear of what’s to come. This is why this year’s ritual focused on some self care and banishing of fear, hate, and other negativity. We must stay strong, dear witches, and keeping fighting for what is right, but to do that, we have to be healthy- physically, mentally, and spiritually.
The seasons are in transition as is the fate of so much else. Take care of yourself.
Blessed be.
