The "successful" modern life can bring so many symptoms of illness.

60+ hour work weeks fueled by coffee, junk food, and poor sleep choices only leads to a burned out adrenal system.

We to fix the problem:

• Cut the 1000 cal/day diet and get a full analysis of your dietary intake to determine what you're deficient in and what needs to be taken away.
• Trying to sleep or sleep lightly and wake up at 4am every night? Force yourself to get 8 hrs of quality sleep.
• Add higher fiber foods and drink enough water to get 5 clear urinations a day.

Hours of cardio and unnecessary meds aren't the answer.

If you feel less than your best now then what are you waiting for? To get worst?

It won't fix itself. This can be a transformative year for you if you just get out of your own way.

Self-defeating behavior is a poison that robs us from achieving the happiness we want in our lives.

And what really drives us crazy is feeling we have to change and not knowing how to - or knowing how to but not being able to stick with the change.

Waist training- should you or should you not? That is the question.

They are the go-to when women want a dramatic hourglass or flatten and smooth abdomen.

But do they work? When it comes to losing weight or spot reducing fat, nope. All they really do is move the floating ribs and create the illusion of "thinner" by reducing  space in your midsection.

However, a waist trainer made specifically for exercise can work in your favor. Simply wear it while doing aerobic activity. It will increase the temperature and bloodflow in that area which may (emphasis on may) breakdown the fat.

Combine that with proper nutrition and a waist trainer can assist you in getting real results and not just an illusion.

If you want to lose fat, there are a couple supplements that can help you. Let me explain:

Caffeine has been proven to speed up fat loss.

More than anything else though, if you want to lose fat then you need to be in a caloric deficit that includes lots of protein. If you cannot get enough protein with food, then add in a protein shake.

Lastly, you want to know the best supplement for fat loss? Hard work. That means a little cardio and weight training 🏃💪

The Fat Loss formula is actually pretty simple.

Eat in a caloric deficit, left weights 3-5 days a week in the gym, and do HIIT on a few off days. That's it. It's not complicated and it works like crazy.

You don't need to detox or cleanse, you don't need to drink apple cider vinegar, and you don't need to do long boring cardio.

That person who has been beside you through your journey, who is always there when you need someone to lean on.

The person who you can REALLY give the nitty gritty details about what you're going through.

The person who gives you encouragement and justifiable criticism when it's needed.

Life ain't easy, but it's easier when don't go through it alone.

So who's your rock?

You may not even talk often, but thank them today. Call them, send a text, buy them lunch, give them flowers, write a card, etc.

Let them know how meaningful it is to have them there with you, supporting you through life.

How often are you hitting that reset button?

If you're like me, the answer is probably often. I've been eating out more than I should lately. I have a pile of work to do. Sometimes life isn't your bestie.

It's cute to paint the picture of everyday being a success story, but the reality is that we have to reset all the time.

Hit that button as many times as have to. If you have to start over every single day, just know that you're not alone. Do this:

• Identify your priorities and try to delegate the rest.
• Knock some sense into yourself.
• Clear the clutter around you. A messy space is reflective of a messy mind.
• Set some boundaries. Be stingy about what you give your time and attention to.
• And cut yourself some slack. You're supposed to be your own cheerleader.

"If diet is KING when it comes to fat loss, then why do I need to strength train?"

Good question, young grasshopper. You're right. When it comes to dropping weight and fat loss, calorie restriction will have a far greater effect on increasing total fat loss than any exercise.

However, any proper fat loss program would include strength training. Why? Because you just dont want to lose weight. You want to drastically improve your body shape and appearance as well. Strength training does that as well as make you stronger so that regular daily activities become easier.

And guess what? It makes fat loss easier! After a PROPER strength training session, your body will use more fat for fuel.

The scale is a good measurement when your goal is to drop pounds, but there's a lot of other MAJOR advantages to working out.

How you monitor progress can be done any of these ten ways and, honestly, they're all really important.

So, don't get down if the scale isn't changing. As long as you're getting stronger, feeling more confident, and daily life activities are getting easier, you're making progress. Keep going!

It's almost guaranteed that the biggest reason for why the weight isn't dropping is because you're underestimating your food intake. But most of us are awful at estimating how much we're eating,  so don't feel alone. Many think a whole large pepperoni pizza is only 300 calories, when it's actually more like 3,000- 4,000 calories 👀

If keeping up with calories is too tedious of a process for you, try using small serving plates.

You can also use your hand to measure your portions: fist= 1 cup, cupped hand= 1/2 cup, palm= portion size for protein, tip of thumb= about 1 tsp, and thumb= about 1 tbsp.
