"In November 2022, I tore my ACL and another ligament in my knee playing pickleball. Dr. David Moore performed surgery in March 2023 to repair my knee, with the goal of having me ready to climb a mountain in Africa in August to see the gorillas. On August 21, I successfully hiked the mountain, even as the trek extended to 4.5 hours due to the gorillas moving. My knee brace stayed in the bag—I didn't need it! Getting this close to the gorillas was an incredible experience, made possible by the expert care I received from Elite. I'm beyond grateful!"
