More than a dozen Tennessee Oncology staff and leaders joined the 3500+ attendees at the 2024 Oncology Nursing Society Congress held in Washington D.C. April 24-28. The conference included participants from all 50 states and US territories plus 11 other countries. Tennessee Oncology presented three posters during Congress. Presentations were done by Jessica Fussell, Staff Nurse, Clarksville (graduate of Tennessee Oncology’s Nurse Residency Program), Sharifa Patterson, Clinical Educator, and Mahalia Cooper, Operations Manager, Smyrna.

Tennessee Oncology's NEST Project was well represented this year at the Dickson County Spring Health Fair. Alexia Rayburn, RN, Jenny Mink, NP, and Sandhya Mudumbi, MD, talked with many community members and leaders about goals to increase access to telehealth for supportive services in the rural communities of Tennessee.
We are excited to share that Dr. Sandhya Mudumbi, previously our Medical Director for Palliative Care, has been promoted to Medical Director of Supportive Care, where she will oversee palliative care, integrative oncology, and psychology services.
