We are thrilled to announce two new physicians will be joining JIS Orthopedics in September!

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Alexander Athey and Dr. Nicholas Walla to our team. We are excited for the positive impact they will have on our patients and community.

Dr. Athey is an accomplished orthopedic surgeon who specializes in adult hip and knee reconstruction. He completed an Adult Reconstruction Fellowship at Rotham Orthopaedics at Thomas Jefferson University and an Orthopedic Traumatology Fellowship at the University of Washington's Harborview Medical Center. He completed his residency in Orthopedic Surgery from the prestigious Mayo Clinic in Rochester.

Dr. Walla is a fellowship-trained orthopedic surgeon specializing in sports medicine. He completed his fellowship in Orthopaedics Sports Medicine at UMass Memorial Health Center in Worcester, MA. Dr. Walla's extensive training includes a residency in Orthopedic Surgery at The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center.
