Now registering for “Youth Art Venture” to be held on June 29th from 9-3:30pm. This event is FREE with funding provided by the Mass Cultural Council. Three talented artist will provide hands on workshops for youth age 10-18. All materials as well as breakfast and lunch are included 🎨
“Tiny Threads” is a referral program for Teen Parents and Expecting Teens. GNBYDINC offers support such as clothing, healthy snacks and foods and education to young parents in need.
Did you know that GNBYDINC offers trainings in the Search Institute’s 40 Development Asset Framework? This framework identifies 40 research-based,positive experiences and qualities that influence young people’s development, helping them become caring, responsible and productive adults.
Funding provided by Southcoast Community Foundation as enabled GNBYDINC to provide area schools with snacks for afterschool activities and sports as well as continued distribution of Weekend Bags for those in need
GNBYDINC has been able to provide weekend bags of food for area youth that may not have access to meals during out of school time. Each bag contains breakfast and lunch items as well as healthy snacks, drinks and fruit.
The GNBYDINC Board members with the help of family and friends filled and delivered almost 50 boxes for Operation Christmas child. Thank you to everyone who helped make this a success!

Finally, the elves at GNBYDINC donated toys, coats, sweatshirts, hats and gloves to the North End Community Center to distribute to families in need. This year more than ever, Christmas love needs to be shared❤️
Project Christmas provided turkey dinners, gifts, and other Christmas treats to several families in the greater Nee Bedford area including “ Grandparents Raising Grandchildren Inc” Agreat big thank you to Lynn Ciminello from McDonalds for donating turkeys, gift certificates and swag to share with our families!
Greater NewBedford Youth Devrlopment instituted thier “ Teen Food Security Project” which provides at risk teens who mostly rely on school breakfasts and lunches, with food to take them through the weekend. Non perishable food is delivered to partner agencies to share with thier youth in need.
