These lucky Dennison Kids are among the two dozen who recently received backpacks loaded with school supplies that were donated by Mark Johnson. Mark undertook this generous effort on his own initiative and received support from his family and friends. It's things like this that make Dennison a very special place for children who live in the south end of New Bedford.

Introducing the MVP of the 2024 Leaders in Training camp: Dennison's own "Chris Rivera"!

Get ready, because it won’t be long before this talented young man makes a significant impact on the SouthCoast basketball scene!

The DCR Summer Nights program was established in 2015 to give urban youth aged 13-21 the chance to participate in recreational and educational activities during the evenings.

Today, the kids at Dennison showcased their basketball skills during a thrilling 3v3 tournament, along with an arts and crafts contest. Paul Clifford, visiting from D.C.R, was thoroughly impressed!

Dropped in to check on our Dennison kids at the Greater South Coast Hoop Academy. Nothing but smiles all around! A big thank you to Rob Delaleu for generously gifting 2 free week passes.

A little drizzle couldn't dampen our kids' spirits on their field trip! They were all smiles and laughter!

We're also excited to welcome new families who have registered for this year's summer program!
