Say hello to another generation of ‘R Garden Farmers. They are working hard to start again. We had a big set back from Florence. Work has been going on! Dipping toes in the soil, fixing & repairing the chicken coop & new baby chicks! This is a slow and steady project! But as we know this wins the race. Five years ago today the “Quad Squad” was born when mama Abbie surprised us late at night by delivering four babies! Do you remember this fiasco? 🐐🐐🐐🐐
They were all full size at birth and Abbie was able to feed and raise them all with no assistance or supplemental bottle feeding.
Alice, one of our mamas who had triplets several weeks ago, is the quad on the far right. Arlo, the wether we have with our buck Tick, is the one closest to the camera. The other two were sold to other homes.
It’s hard to believe these guys are five now!

These are called Giant Olympic a type of Asian pear. We will have these and Granny Smith apples New this week at the New Bern Farmer's Market!

So just as a little side note. 'R Garden Kitchen has used 10 lbs of pectin so far this season. This is a picture of our next 10.
