Update.
We have postponed our opening day 1 week to Saturday, October 5. 1:00-8:00 to allow some more growing time for the maze.
Opening day is coming soon. I sure appreciate our boys, Luke and Zack Henthorn, for getting started on cutting the design into the maze. They didn’t quite finish before the rain moved back in. We’ll see how long it takes to get back in and finish. We’re looking forward to seeing everyone. Opening day is September 28.

We are less than 3 weeks to opening day of the fall season. We’ll be cutting the design in the maze this week and getting the farm ready for y’all to come out and make new memories together. Saturday, September 28, 1:00- 8:00

Great news. The Sorghum Sudan grass is planted and coming up nicely. It won’t be too long and we’ll be cutting the design for the maze. Opening day, September 28, is coming quickly. 1:00-8:00. We’ll be seeing you soon.

Good morning. The field for the maze was finally dry enough for Jim to cut up. Hopefully the fertilizer will go out today, then he can plant the sorghum Sudan grass…. Which was supposed to be planted 2 weeks ago.
Opening day for the season is Saturday, September 28. Saturdays 1:00/8:00 and Sundays 2:00-6:00 through Saturday Nov 2.
We’re looking forward to sharing lots of fun with all of you.

I apologize for not posting anything yet about our fall activities. Everyone knows that the weather has been bad and for farmers, really not good.
My pumpkins were supposed to be planted in June, but we had a bad drought and needed some water in the soil before the seeds could go in. We finally got some rain and I planted the pumpkin seeds on July 13. Well, then it went to raining… and raining. I thought they had probably all drowned, but lo and behold, they all came up, so I started working on get the weeds out. Then more rain…… forever… I went out last week. The road was finally dry enough to get back there. We lost some plants, some are yellow, but we have some blooms. Now back to work.

Good morning! It’s Saturday! The last day of our fall season. Come enjoy a great day outside in the maze, on a hayride and enjoying all the other activities. We are open 2:00-8:00. You need to be here by 6:30 to have time to enjoy everything. $10/person cash or check.

PCA Upper school yesterday. We enjoyed having their company. They were a fun group.

We have been busy welcoming some fun groups to the farm. Pamlico Christian Academy and the Pamlico Partnership for Children 3 year olds. Today is the upper school from PCA. It’s been a great season.

We are hosting Pamlico Partnership for Children 3 year olds this morning. It’s a beautiful day. We’re going to have some fun.

The weekend has arrived. Woohoo! Remember , we have special hours this Saturday and next Saturday. 2:00-6:30, normal activities. 7:00-9:00 for the haunted maze.

It was a pretty sunrise this morning. The maze is standing ready for kids to come practice their navigation skills with a field trip. Fun day ahead.
