✨Sunday marked the end of our first 6 week small group nutrition program. We got to work with 6 individuals who all had the same goals of improving their overall health and performance in the gym.
✨While they had the same goals, their approaches were different and individualized.
✨Everyone’s daily routines are unique, the stress they deal with is unique and the components of health they struggle with are all different and this is why nutrition can’t be a one size fits all approach.
✨Each week we gave our 6 members ONE new simple goal to focus on paired with a group task for the accountability factor. With only one task to focus on at a time, they were able to slowly form healthier and sustainable habits.
✨The success we’ve seen physically but more so mentally in our members has been tremendous. Over the course of the 6 weeks the best gain I’ve seen, is their positive relationships with food. They’re beginning to see food as fuel and something that nourishes the body.
✨These results didn’t come from 6 weeks of a rigid restricted diet. These are results of consistent and sustainable SIMPLE habits and showing yourself the grace you need to not limit yourself from the foods and activities you enjoy.
It gets to be that simple 🫶🏼

🥳We are so excited to announce that we have partnered with The Fittest Experience to be a TFX Throwdown host! The TFX Throwdown is an awesome opportunity to team up with your friends, and spend a Saturday afternoon throwing down!
🤷🏻♀️What is the TFX Throwdown?
The TFX Throwdown is a one day competition for scaled and intermediate teams. All teams are comprised of 3 men or 3 women.
🤷🏽♂️Who is it for?
Scaled and Intermediate athletes looking to have some fun, compete, and qualify for The Fittest Experience!
🤷🏼How do you qualify?
This year there are 5 TFX Throwdown hosts. There will be a global leaderboard over the 5 different TFX Throwdowns. Based on the Global Leaderboard, the top 8 teams from each division will receive an automatic invite to our TFX competition in January bypassing the Online Qualifier. The Global Leaderboard is an accumulation of all local host leaderboards.

Bryson has been with us for a few months now but he hit the ground running quick here at Einhorn.
At the ripe age of 19 Bryson has the drive that a lot of kids his age lack. He impresses us daily with his humble desire to learn as much as he can about CrossFit. He’s not afraid to ask questions, he’s very coachable and always has a smile on his face even in the middle of a gnarly workout 🤘🏼
Every day Bryson is asking our coaching staff for some extra homework to work on. You can pretty much always find him after class in a corner working on a skill until he feels like he’s mastered it.
We’re so proud of you Bryson! Keep up the hard work 🔥

Here’s a little bit about our girl Amy 👇🏼
1. What has CrossFit taught you so far?
That there are hills and valleys in each persons CrossFit journey, mentally and physically, but that is what will continue to make you stronger. CrossFit brings such an uplifting community, when you’re in those valley moments there’s always someone that’s going to grab your hand and help you through that, and when you’re on that hill you know every person at the gym is right behind you, louder and more hype than you could’ve ever imagined. It’s a real community, family, no jealousy, just authentic people who want you to grow and are there watering that seed in you.
2. What is it that keeps you showing up at the gym and putting in work? What’s your “why?”
My “why” is Georgia Leigh and Turner Presleigh, my daughters. In a world full of diet culture and women always scrutinizing their bodies I took a hard look at that a couple of years ago and decided I wasn’t going to continue that cycle of body shaming and hating and it wasn’t something I ever wanted my daughters to hear from my mouth about my self or any other women. I want them to see that their mom loves working out because it makes me feel strong and empowered, and because it is important for my mental health. Hearing my daughters talk about how strong and beautiful they are is the ultimate swoon.
3. What advice would you give someone just starting CrossFit?
Be your biggest hype squad, when you get your first toe to bar, handstand push-up or whatever it might be, get excited! It’s a big freaking deal! There will be hard weeks and times when youre frustrated, but keep showing up because you’ll come out of that valley stronger than before. Also, dive into the community and events through the gym, you will meet some of your best friends - don’t be afraid to hop around class times and meet others in the gym. Those of you who are intimidated by the thought of joining a CrossFit gym, I say, GO FOR IT! If people call this a cult then it’s definitely one I want to be apart of 😜

Gosh we can’t even begin to explain how proud we are of Caitlin🥲
In January she came to me one day and said “I’m doing this, I’m all in.” She had a baby a few months prior and knew that she not only wanted to take better care of her body, but her mind as well.
Caitlin is a wife, a mom and works full time. She’s the epitome of simply not having time but still manages to find it. She works hard, has such a positive attitude and when she does find herself going through a rough patch, she’s able to realize that it’s all a part of the journey and she continues to invest her time into her self 👌🏼
This isn’t the result of food restriction. This isn’t the result of body shaming or some fad crash diet. This is the result of being intuitive with her eating, choosing foods that nourish her body and simply enjoying the process.
Caitlin keep rocking girl because your hard work is so inspiring!🙌🏼🫶🏼
The weather is starting to heat up, you know what that means….you’re sweatin…a lot more 🥵
To keep yourself moving safely and efficiently in the gym, we must drink our water!
Not sparkling water, not water mixed with crystal light packets, no the water in your coffee doesn’t count, just plain ole fresh ice cold WATER 💧
Aiming for a gallon of water a day has so many amazing benefits!
💧Increases your energy and mental focus.
💧Helps carry oxygen to your cells.
💧Improves your immunity by removing toxins and waste from the body.
💧Helps regulate digestion and improves your metabolism for weight loss.
💧Helps cushion your joints and acts as a lubricant to your muscles.
The list goes on and on but you get the point…WATER IS ESSENTIAL 👌🏼
If you struggle with drinking a gallon of water a day try out these simple tips 👇🏼
1. Buy a new water bottle/water jug. When you get a new water bottle that looks cool, it’s exciting to carry around. It sounds silly but trust us, it works.
2. Take it with you everywhere you go. The more you keep it in plain sight, the more it’ll act as a reminder to drink it.
3. Set reminders on your phone. If you’re really not one to even think about hydration, setting alarms on your phone is the key. We know, it sounds a little over the top. But until you get used to reaching for your water bottle on your own, those alarms can be super beneficial to get you into a habit.

We’re so proud of our Einhorns 🔥🤘🏼
We have members who range all over the map. From our young 20 year old fire breathing athletes to our 60 year old grandparents just trying to keep up with those busy grand babies.
One group that continues to impress us and grow here at Einhorn is our kids! Starting at 14 years old, we have middle school and high school students who wake up at those crazy early hours, or come in late in the evenings and work so hard🏋🏼♀️
Their young minds are like sponges, they’re here to learn and absorb as much information as they can so they can take their new level of fitness and apply it to their athletics at school.
It amazes me how well these kids can move when coached through movement correctly. Most of your middle school and high school kids are in the weight rooms now, scary we know 😬
But we take the time to coach them through those barbells lifts correctly, so that when they return to the weight rooms, they know how to lift properly and steer clear of injury.
