Horse riding related vocabulary:
1. Saddle: A saddle is a seat-like structure placed on the back of a horse for the rider to sit on. It helps provide support and balance while riding.
2. Bridle: A bridle is the set of equipment used to control and guide a horse. It includes a headstall, bit, and reins. The rider uses the bridle to communicate with the horse and direct its movements.
3.Trot: Trot is a two-beat gait of a horse, characterized by diagonal pairs of legs moving together. It is a rhythmic and bouncy gait, where the horse's front and back legs on opposite sides move together. The trot is often the first gait learned by beginner riders as it provides a smooth and steady movement.
4.Gallop: Gallop is the fastest and most energetic gait of a horse. It is a four-beat gait where all four legs of the horse leave the ground. The horse stretches its body forward with long strides, covering a significant amount of ground with each leap.
5. Stirrups: Stirrups are the footrests attached to the saddle. The rider places their feet in the stirrups to gain stability and balance while riding. Stirrups also allow the rider to apply leg aids to communicate with the horse.
