We held our annual Fishing Academy for grades 3-6 on Monday! Students learn about fish, fishing equipment, fishing techniques, and conservation. This is in preparation of the fishing field trip we take later in the week.

Senior Breakfast is such a wonderful tradition! Former Campbellton students came back to share their plans and memories with us!

Miss Burke welcomed a local beekeeper to share with our 3rd grade class as the culminating activity to their Project Lead the Way unit on bees, their life cycle and their declining population!

Scheideggar Principals for the day! They were busy with smiles all day long!

3rd grade celebrated the end of Miss Hoerstkamp being a student teacher. She graduates next week!

Thank you Campbellton PTC for providing snacks for extra fuel during MAP testing!

1st grade would like to announce the arrival of 15 baby chicks! They have worked hard to learn about life cycles and successfully helped care for these eggs from incubation until they hatched. A big shout out to Mrs. Ohse and Mrs. Schmitz for their help in making this project successful and to Mrs. Binder and Mrs. Burke for letting them borrow supplies!

Campbellton was well representsd at Battle of the Books last week! Team Around the World even took 1st place!

3rd Grade is presenting their multimedia presentations of procedural writing this week. This group is incredibly creative and loves to be funny.

Madelyn Carey was awarded the Let Your Optimism Shine Award from The Optimist Club of Washington. Congratulations Madelyn!

FYI Campbellton families!

The School District of Washington has been without Internet service since Tuesday morning, April 9. We do not have a timetable for service to be restored. Email service in the District also is down, so teachers and staff will be delayed in responding to any communication from parents. Tuesday was a day filled with great learning adventures! I had the chance to visit 4th Grade, Kindergarten , and 2nd Grade classrooms and witness the excitement of education with them!

Experience the excitement of our Carnival of Learning! Our staff prepared engaging games for students to play, and we appreciate our families for spending an evening with us. Many thanks to PTC for supplying the materials and prizes that added to the fun!
