Had one the BEST meals of my life at Tujague's Restaurant! Not exaggerating ⚜🍽 Our service & food were impeccable from beginning to end. I can not say enough nice things about this place. Deon was our server & he was amazing! They have moved from their orig location & are now located at 429 Decatur. Will post their website in the comments below. Do NOT miss this place in the French Quarter! We can't wait to get back!

In 2019, as Tujague’s recognized the burgeoning limitations of our space, a quest for a new abode commenced. After an exhaustive search, we unearthed our sanctuary at 429 Decatur Street, finalizing the lease in the inaugural month of 2020. The advent of the COVID-19 pandemic, paradoxically, bestowed upon us a serendipitous boon – an uninterrupted span of 11 months for meticulous renovations, culminating in our grand reopening in December of 2020.

Ebullient anticipation accompanied the relocation of our iconic signage to its novel habitat, only to discover that the sign’s ownership vested in the edifice itself, rather than in Tujague’s. Thus ensued a dual conundrum: petitioning the Vieux Carré Commission to amend their prohibition on fresh neon installations within the French Quarter, and procuring adept designers to replicate the emblematic sign. Fortunately, the VCC adjudged that the proposed sign would not constitute a novel addition but rather a faithful rendition. Faced with the second challenge, we knew precisely where to turn: & , renowned purveyors of craftsmanship.

Any chimichurri fans out there? 🙋 Chef Gus Martin just added something to the brunch menu for us… and shattered our preconceived limits of salad dressing. Grilled Gulf shrimp🍤& Farro with corn🌽 , arugula, red onion🧅 , peppers 🫑 and tomatoes 🍅 tossed in a fresh chimichurri in place of typical salad dressing. Trust us, it’s divine. Way to go, Chef!👏🏻
