Due to power outages from last night’s severe weather, the New Orleans location will be closed today. We’re hoping to resume regularly scheduled operations Monday, May 20th. The Slidell location is unaffected and remains open for therapy!

The Thompson Center for Autism’s Slidell location is reopening today! All locations have resumed normal operations. We’re excited to get back to our kiddos!

The Thompson Center for Autism’s Slidell location will remain closed, today, due to power outages and the uncertainty of passable/safe routes for our therapists and families. The New Orleans location will resume normal operation today!

In an effort to ensure all of our wonderful clients and therapists remain safe, The Thompson Center for Autism will be closing the Slidell and New Orleans locations tomorrow April 10, 2024. We expect to resume normal operation Thursday April 11. Stay safe, everyone!

We wanted to thank St. Tammany Fire Protection District #1 for spreading autism awareness, and the goal for understanding and acceptance in the community that we call home. Today, our amazing kiddos had the BEST time signing the specially wrapped unit for their National Autism Acceptance Month Campaign. Thanks again for including us in this wonderful community event. (And for the cute shirts our kiddos and therapists will be rocking all month).

We miss Amanda Haley! Our favorite Slidell BCBA is vacationing in Italy right now! Even though we miss her (and are a little jealous), we’re teaching our kiddos about all the wonderful things she’s getting to enjoy!

A HUGE congratulations is in order for our two newly certified therapists! Meet Natalie Lopez, BCBA and Cari Vindel, BCaBA! So excited to keep seeing the growth of these two wonderful individuals, and forever thankful for the quality of care they provide.
