I have been working with so many amazing people! Working from Spyre has introduced me to so many people that make their health and wellbeing a priority. And that makes for the BEST patient experience and outcomes!
I have a few spots left for new patients if you’ve been holding out for the summer. Request an appointment through the website www.studio-rehab.com.

Many pelvic floor dysfunctions are preventable.
You can get a pelvic floor muscle assessment now to learn more about the state of your pelvic floor and if you have any risk factors for pelvic floor dysfunctions that may arise over time.
At Studio Rehab you don’t need to wait for there to be a problem, or a certain diagnosis for “medical necessity”, or a doctor’s referral to be proactive about your health, we can do better than that broken model!
Book online at www.studio-rehab.com and get an expert assessment of your pelvic floor to better understand your body.
Aren’t you curious?
I love Pilates tourism when traveling!
I always take a Pilates class when I pass through Chicago. Often my Pilates students are visiting from out of town or bringing their visiting guests to class.
This was my first international Pilates experience in Bangkok and I am grateful she taught it in English 😂. At the end of class she asked if I was an instructor… why yes! Yes I am. (Hair flip).
10/10 will do again!
One last Baby & Me Pilates of the spring session this Wednesday May 15th 10:30-11:30am

Baby Love ❤️ They were born into Pilates
I’ve hand crafted some delights for giveaways at the "Choose Wellness" - FREE Wellness Fair
My signature scent, the night jasmine hand poured soy candles, plant propagations of heart shaped philodendrons, birkin, and pothos, and my personal favorite, hand block printed totes with my logo that I hand carved!
I love lighting a fragrant candle, tending to my plants, and crafting as acts of self care. I really enjoyed the process of making my little treasures to share, and there is nothing more personal than a handmade gift. Beats a stress ball, and right?!
So pop in and say hello and I would be overjoyed to hand over one of these goodies and share what’s going on at Studio Rehab!!

Thanks and all who participated in the Shoulder Injury Prevention Workshop for Aerial & Pole tonight! 🎪
I appreciate the opportunity to give back to my circus community and educate others ❤️
We went over shoulder anatomy, covered a few recent circus science journal publications specific to aerial and pole, and then put our anatomy lesson into action with a shoulder specific warmup for endrange overhead movement, followed up with strengthening with resistance for our rotator cuff and periscapular muscles. 💪
Stay strong friends!

Ankle beats!! Looks so scary but feels empowering and strong!
Thanks to Lorelei Ashe for the dedicated coaching! I came to her for consistent coaching with a few goals in mind, pullover beats and hip circles were top of the list. And 4 months later I am doing both! But I didn’t even know I needed ankle beats in my life.
One of these days I’ll share my progress with a friggin meat hook, cause those get out of my body and into my head!
Baby & Me Pilates Fall Session 🍁 🍂 Love seeing Mamas connect, and babies too!
Hip Circles!! With determination I’ve come this far!
Next I want to go around 3 revolutions.
We got that good candy out!
I adored teaching a Pilates mat class at Audubon Park with the Tulane Chaarg ladies this week!
They meet every week for a different workout in the community! How cool?!
The weather was perfect and I think it was a great class! Hope you’re all sore! But in that good way.
Thanks for the invitation!
Pelvic organ prolapse diagnoses often freak people out. Being on the top of the taboo list, prolapse is often not known about nor discussed. The good news is that although prolapse may occur, it is not always likely to progress, nor does it always cause bothersome symptoms!
It’s now considered uncommon for anyone to have Stage 0, normal to have Stage 1 (even before any pregnancies), and although common, Stage 2 is not always symptomatic nor likely to worsen, and even stage 3/4 may not have bothersome symptoms.
If you have any bothersome symptoms with prolapse, including heaviness, pressure, a bulge at the vaginal opening, low back pain, all of these are treatable! More severe symptoms would be urinary retention, outlet obstruction, or infections.
You can talk to your OB-GYN or P*P about it, and seek a pelvic PT and Uro-gynecologist for expert treatments.
Pelvic floor muscle strengthening for support, good habits to avoid excessive straining on pelvic floor, and pessaries are all ways to manage before jumping to surgeries.
Did you know the American Physical Therapy Association has added pessary management services to the scope of physical therapists? It requires additional training, and should always be a team effort with a medical provider too.
P.S. I am qualified to fit for pessaries!
Those brisk lunch time walks I treasure on work days to clear my mind and get out in nature are best appreciated in and in the sculpture garden. Always free!
I’ve been pondering this fact since being reminded that we lose 1-2% muscle mass every year after 30s. Even our urethral sphincter!! (Kegel baby!) It’s called sarcopenia, and it’s why one day people suddenly have difficulty getting off the toilet or out of a low chair.
So we MUST exercise. It is not an option, it’s a non-negotiable, and needs to be a mandatory part of our lifestyle.
My favorite things currently are brisk walking every work day at lunch to clear my mind and get outside. I do Pilates, trapeze conditioning and weight lifting at the gym weekly because I love these movement practices and the community they come with.
I could benefit from more vigorous exercise for sure- anyone want to be my accountability partner for that one?! I have been better about this in the past with running, swimming, biking but it’s so freaking hot in New Orleans I’ve slacked.
Exercise prevents obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, bone loss and the poor quality of life that is associated with these invisible diseases and silent killers.
Much love and movement

That’s the look of accomplishment!
I’ve been working towards the elusive beat to pullover for the past 6 years!! Feels so incredible to get it!
Trapeze pushes me in ways like nothing else. It’s humbling always. To work at something over and over and over and slowly see it transform from impossible to attainable is a life lesson in determination and hard work!
Hope I can pull it off next week again! Next goal is hip circles!
Thanks for helping me get there!

Honored to be a part of the discussion on endometriosis at the documentary film screening for . Endometriosis affects 1 in 9 women/folx assigned female at birth, and takes 6-10 years to get a diagnosis. Even with a diagnosis, treatments aren’t curative except for excision surgeries which are as complicated as removing cancer and require a skilled and experienced surgeon to remove it thoroughly. There are only 3 OB-GYNs that we could identify who specialize in excision surgeries in Louisiana! Shocking.
I greatly appreciate having a seat at the table to advocate for pelvic physical therapy to support the pain management and healing for the Endo Warriors.
Special thanks to and for pushing change forward.
We must do better!
