I love seeing our new baby blankets in use by the sweetest blessings 💙💗 Sending a huge congratulations and hug to Savanna, Kristen, and Lauren! Thank you for collecting the baby blankets- it is an honor that you used my artwork for your most precious moments. 🫶🏼
Receiving these photos on insta absolutely makes my day! If you have a photo of your little one with our baby decor or prints, I would adore seeing it!
The new baby blankets and swaddles are HERE! 🥳
Follow the link in the comments to snag your favorite of the 1 of 20 created!
I created these pieces so that you can cherish those sweet, fleeting snuggles wrapped in something beautiful, unique, and charming. I personally have collected a few for Camille and they have instantly become our go-to, not because of the design, but because of the material! They’re so soft and breathable, making it the perfect nursing cover, stroller accessory, or nursery blanky.
I hope they become your most loved baby item, too!! Do you have a favorite design of the bunch? I’d love to hear from you below!
🧸TOMORROW🧸 the new blankets and swaddles will be available on my website! They are LIMITED as I only have 20 of each design. If you want first access to the new items, comment the word “BLANKET” below and I will DM you the link when they launch in the morning.
All of the new baby blankets are thick and double-sided; while the swaddle is one-sided and perfect for swaddling, nursing, or just cuddling. Both are made of a breathable, lightweight muslin material that is perfectly gentle for you and baby. I found that they also make the best stroller accessory, monthly photo backdrop, and breathable crib blanket. They really add that little extra charm to all of your precious moments with your little!
Do you have an upcoming baby shower or addition to the family? Collect one for that sweet bundle of joy!
Your FAVORITE baby item will be BACK in
✨6 NEW STYLES✨
They will be available this Thursday at noon or 10am for email subscribers. Sign up by going to the link in the comments!
I’ll be at the gallery until 5 today and would love to meet you 🤗 I rarely get the chance to work the gallery for an entire day (I’m usually painting in my studio) so I’m really looking forward to enjoying this space, catching up on admin tasks, and chatting with visitors! I hope to see you soon at 3649 Magazine Street 🩵

We are celebrating Camille‘s birthday this week, which has me reminiscing on the incredible year we have had together. It has felt like running a marathon every day- the most fun, beautiful, busy year ever. I’m so grateful to be this little girl’s mom!
As always, she has inspired me to create more nursery items, including a new line of baby swaddles and blankets! The 6 unique designs are now available in the gallery and will be available online soon!

because I’m grateful for this beautiful life God has given me- a healthy, loving family, a career that I adore, the opportunity to paint daily, the perfect space to share my work in, an incredibly supportive community that I love working with,... the list goes on and on!

A PEEK! 👀
This charming New Orleans home turned retail space, originally spanned over 4 rooms, which worked perfectly for displaying the variety of my artwork. We were able to create themes in each room- the “New Orleans room”, the “nature room”, the “nursery”, etc. Curating the space has been so fun and fulfilling- it truly is a crazy feeling to see close to 70 paintings (spanning 4 years of work) displayed in one space!
We would love to give you a “tour”!! We are open from 10-5 EVERY DAY, except Sunday, which is 12-4.
3649 Magazine Street
It was a beautiful opening weekend 🥰 even better than I could’ve imagined! This transition has been a lot of work and a bit nerve-wracking... “is this the right move? right place? right time?, etc.” I typically do not have a ton of intuition and have a hard time trusting in my decisions, but after this weekend, I know this space was meant to be the gallery.
If you came to the gallery this weekend, you might’ve noticed a little dragonfly buzzing around- we tried to get it outside but it just wanted to chill with us. I learned that dragonflies are a symbol of happiness and new beginnings/ chapters. Between this, the kind wishes and comments from our gracious visitors, and the overall feeling of being there, I’m so thrilled to make 3649 Magazine the forever home of Casey Langteau Art Gallery! 🩵
I would love for you to come experience the joy of the gallery in person! We are open every day from 10-5, except Sunday which is 12-4.

Scroll to see some of the fun additions to this painting, like their pups, family names, favorite place to visit (beach), their home (New Orleans streetcar), wedding details (flowers throughout, dates, etc) and, of course, favorite drink order on the bar! I cannot wait to see this painting installed in their new home! I’m so grateful they chose to work with me to create a personalized statement piece for their dining room🥂🥰🎺
We are just getting back from our 1st international trip as a family of 3 and something has been on my mind:
Did you also get the advise “Travel before you have kids, they will change everything”?
They’re right about 1 thing: they do change everything, but not in the ways I thought. To me, traveling with children alters the way you experience and view the world.
I loved living through my daughter’s eyes as she experienced something for the first time. Seeing her dance to live music, wave at every person that passed, say her first words “hello” 🥹, playing with babies from around the world, and getting so much quality time as a family. Her joy was my joy tenfold.
It’s important to continue doing what you love after children, especially when you can incorporate them. Sure, it may change the way it was before, but there is so much more beauty when you can indulge in the world’s offerings with those you love most.

I had a couple of requests to share some baby traveling hacks and tips. Should I make a post about what helped us travel to London, Belgium, Amsterdam, Norway, and Iceland with a 10 month old?
This painting, “Flowing Fields”, is inspired by a view of Saint Paul de Vence in the South of France. This was my favorite place we visited last year- it is one of the oldest medieval towns on the French Riviera, yet its well known for its modern and contemporary art museums and galleries. Scroll to see some photos from our visit- and why you should add Saint Paul de Vence to your bucket list!
This painting is available within the “Waves and Wanderlust” collection now available at the gallery- visit 4700 Magazine Street or call us at 504-500-8164 for more information.
Have you been able to check out the new collection, “Waves and Wanderlust”, at the gallery?!
The collection is a celebration of all things that come with summer: beaches, boat days, and time spent in the sun! This painting is titled “The Tide’s Dance” and it is available now (along with 7 other new, original paintings).
I will not have an online release for the collection, so be sure to stop by the gallery at 4700 Magazine Street or call us at (504) 500-8164 for more information on this painting. Reminder: Our moving sale is still going on!! Help us carry a little less by taking 15% off EVERYTHING in stock at the gallery!
🥂TOMORROW!🥂
Visit the gallery to celebrate Champagne Stroll, my newest collection release, and enjoy 15% off EVERYTHING! This is a day you do not want to miss!
The event will be happening throughout Magazine Street, but be sure to stop at 4700 Magazine Street to see the new paintings and save for our biggest sale of all time! Visit to learn more about the event and see what other local businesses are participating.
This painting, “Trawler Tales”, was actually requested by a collector! She was looking for a painting of shrimp boats along Mississippi’s coast. Since I’m not typically on the coast for this sort of inspiration, I asked her to send me photos of what she loved most about her home state. I’m so grateful she requested this piece and happy I can now share it with you!!
In honor of Mother’s Day Sunday, I wanted to share something that has been on my mind lately.
I’m curious, do you struggle with this as well? What do you do for yourself that makes you a better mom?
In celebration of champagne stroll this weekend, we will be releasing a new collection AND starting our moving sale!
This Saturday from 6-9 PM is Magazine Street’s annual Champagne Stroll! Businesses and restaurants along Magazine Street will be celebrating with champagne, live music, savings, and more!
We will be open at our current 4700 Magazine Street location as well as we will have a small outdoor market set up at the new gallery space at 3649 Magazine Street.
To celebrate our upcoming move, we are kicking off our biggest sale ever this Champagne Stroll Weekend! We will be offering 15% off everything currently in stock – gift items, paper prints, canvas prints, reworks and originals all included!! This offer will apply in-store only.
This painting could be yours and all the proceeds go to !!
“A Walk Through Audubon Zoo” will be on display tonight at Zoo-To-Do’s auction, but you can also bid online! I’m offering limited edition, hand-signed paper prints with the proceeds going to Audubon Zoo. View both by clicking the link in my bio!
Scroll to see the inspo for this painting - Camille finally got to visit it!
Do you recognize this spot from your time spent in the beautiful New Orleans Zoo? In my opinion, the perfect day at the Zoo includes a serene walk to this tucked away oasis! To commemorate the 100th year of the Odenheimer Complex, the painting features its elegant columns rising within magnificent, ancient oaks. In the foreground, Hygeia Fountain is draped in native blooms and a few favorite zoo creatures. 🐢🕊🦚
I’m thrilled to have this original painting and prints raise funds for the place I have so many special childhood memories! I’m looking forward to making the same ones with my daughter in such a beautiful oasis that is !
My favorite thing about this accessory is that I can quickly make any outfit effortlessly chic (or let’s be real - hide that spit up stain before leaving the house)
I’m curious, would you prefer to wear or frame your scarf?
Becoming a mom this year has deepened admiration for mothers: especially my own! Thank you to my mom, for not only being a model for the new scarves (3 generations in 1 accessory 🤩), but also a role-model for my life!
In honor of this special holiday, I’m donating a portion of all sales this week to New Orleans Women and Children shelter (learn more about them in my last post).
I hope you enjoy exploring the new collection and find something perfect to celebrate your mom, while helping mothers in need in our community!
“Here’s to Strong Women: May We Know Them. May We Be Them. May We Raise Them.”
🌸Coming to the Mother’s Day shop tomorrow🌸
Wearable art that brings a touch of elegance and artistry to your wardrobe or unique charm to your home! The silk scarves will be part of the Mother’s Day Shop releasing tomorrow at noon (10am for email subscribers).

In celebration of Mother’s Day approaching, I want to do something special this year!
This journey of motherhood has surpassed my expectations, yet it has also has me wondering how mothers manage without a supportive community. I’m extremely grateful to have the support and help of my mom, mother-in-law, husband, friends, and more, and still, there are challenges. I have a ton of respect for single mothers, those juggling multiple jobs or struggling to find the help they need.
As Mother’s Day approaches, a portion of all sales this week will be donated to the New Orleans Women and Children Shelter . Their mission empowers women and their children to transition from homelessness and poverty to stability and self-sufficiency.
I’m looking forward to see how we can support mothers in our community together! Be on the lookout for the Mother’s Day release tomorrow at noon OR get first dibs of the 50 scarves created at 10am by subscribing to my newsletter-link in bio. 🤗💕
