Twenty years ago, a friend of ours asked us to play a Halloween grunge party, kicking off the annual tradition known as Nirvana Paltz. From the basement of Mohonk Ave. to the DIY space 3FU, we shared the stage with the finest local musicians and rocked out with the most beautiful audiences. We look back with fondness on the days when the Drawing Party drawings decked the walls of Snug's, when half a dozen Courtneys sang with us for Hole Paltz, when our drummer would inevitably bleed on the snare, and when the music of our youth would rejuvenate us and fill us with that sweet, sweet angst.
