The story of the fog and the mist, and the trees hiding in between dewy haze—
whispering secrets only the morning light can hear.
Air, thick with the memories of those who came before,
their voices carried through the wind, over the weeds.
The words of our uncles echoing through the woods,
ancient wisdom woven into the rustling leaves.
The laughs of our aunties have become the fire that warms our bones.
Hypnotizing flames, telling our history,
raging unmanned, yet steady on land.
We belong here. We been knew that.
Our birthright is the outside, because the outside is in us,
flowing through our veins like the rivers that carve through mountains.
We lay our heads upon ants and crickets,
singing in the dark as we drift to sleep,
Their voices a chorus of the night,
A serenade to our dreams to live.
We dine under the stars,
In our ancestors embrace us,
guiding us to a freedom that is ours to claim.
Free to be, free to think, free to feel.
The Earth our table, and the sky our shelter,
for we are of the soil and the sky,
Of the rain, of the seas,
Of the fruits of our labour,
connected by the breath of the wild,
where the mist carries our stories,
and the trees stand witness to our return.
Blessings be, a tribute to peace.

The time we have is the most luxurious thing we can possess. How we choose to spend it, where we spend it, and who we spend it with speaks volumes about the value we place on it. It’s not just about filling the hours, but about curating moments that align with our purpose, our passions, and our people. Every decision around time is an investment, one that pays back in experiences, memories, and growth. When we surround ourselves with positive vibrations, we elevate those moments, amplifying the energy we give and receive. The true wealth is found in how intentional we are with the minutes that make up our lives, and the vibrations we carry with us along the way.

Eat Fresh, Buy Local.
That statement stood out to us and was a consistent theme on the trip. Our initial purpose was to document the process of our Aunt Elo making our Peppa Sauce. The trip ended up being an endless onion of storytelling, education and inspiration. There’s nothing better than cultivating your own produce and that being your main source of nutrition. The farmers market in Brooklyn and towns across the States are always bustling because naturally we want to get our food as close to the source as possible. St. Lucia has so much lushness and unique characteristics that make the soil so rich the food is just too sweet! 🤌🏿
Stay tuned as we continue our journey through the island; farm, market, beach, gems and more.

The family.
It’s a word we use almost everyday. It holds so much meaning, value, sentiment and emotion. Family makes life a little bit easier to navigate as you can always seek refuge when you’re lost along your journey.
Be the family you need. The love will always make its way home.

Summer House @ Brooklyn Museum is open all weekend long. 11am-6pm. Stop By If You Haven’t As Yet. 😋
Returning to St. Lucia, we reconnected with our past, present, and future, collaborating with .p and his team at . Our transatlantic journey, guided by the waters that link Africa, the Caribbean, and North America, evoked a deep sense of kinship, as if our ancestors themselves guided us. St. Lucia has always been home but it hits different every time. It was an honor and a privilege to share the island with friends as we documented the island and our experiences.
Available now is our latest collaboration with “A Journey Through Heritage” a collection meant to be worn as a second skin, fostering pride, self-love, and unity. 🌊❤️

Purpose is your personal GPS. It guides you daily and alerts you when you’re making the wrong turns. Never to put too much pressure on yourself just allow the purpose to re-route and re-center. Embarking on our journey we’ve faced many challenges; especially in business. Business is a daily problem solving process. It’s who you choose to solves those problems with make the trip worth while. We are blessed to have each other not only for the good times but the uncertain ones too. It’s kind of fascinating knowing the further we go on our journey the more we learn about our ancestors and gain insight into our heritage. It’s no wonder we walk the earth with so much ✨. It’s in our blood, dna, our water and spirit.

Here’s to the magic of food, music, and cosmic connections! Just a month ago, we met Tierra Whack at the Brooklyn Museum during the VIP opening of the Giants exhibit we catered. Our servers were swamped by a crowd eager for our food, and right there, vibing with every bite, was Tierra Whack herself!
Fast forward to this week, ‘World Wide Whack’ is out, and we’re still riding the high from Wednesday’s listening party. We served ceviche, fish cakes, and hot maple bao buns, all vibing with Tierra’s whimsical energy. Surrounded by some amazing people, witty bars, dope beats, and our fiery eats, it’s moments like these that remind us why we love serving our creative tribe.

A small glimpse behind the scenes of a memorable night we didn’t think would happen. Last year the Brooklyn Museum reached out to us to collaborate on a few big projects that we proved we can handle. When word that “Giants” - The Dean Collection (Alicia Keys + Swizz Beatz) exhibit was on the way we only assumed we would get the gig. That wasn’t the case, we got word that Dean team had a different idea. We accepted the fact that what’s for us will come. We know the energy, intent and love we put into everything we do. So we were more than surprised when the email came in and Alicia Keys requested us and asked for us to put together a menu that embodies our Caribbean heritage and flavors. We came up with some bites that had guests kept lining up for, coming for seconds and thirds. From the ackee patties topped with guava chutney to the koftas w/ trinichurri. They just couldn’t get enough! We’re beyond grateful for the chance to shine once again on such a grand stage and for the doors it continues to open.
Plan on creating a nice vibe? Shoot us a message, let’s make some magic together.🤞🏿✨
February's been a whirlwind, like a garden suddenly flourishing under a relentless sun. With Aunty Tabitha, PIX11, and CNBC shining on us, our café's been buzzing non-stop. It’s been a mix of everything—off-site gigs, caterings, chit-chats, shoots, the lot. But even in the rush, we know the importance of pausing, of soaking in the moment.
So, we lit the Takibi, let the open fire draw us and the neighbors in. Over single barrel whiskey, we shared tales—of Jamaica's hills, city life’s slow beats, beach feasts, and new chunes. It's these moments, amid the push and pull of life, where we find our true rhythm. Like plants in a garden, we need both sunlight and shadow, the bustling days and the quiet moments, to truly thrive. Can we be both the fire and the earth, feeding and being fed in return?
As we grow, like a garden rich and wild, we’re learning. Through the hustle, through the stillness, we’re intertwining our stories, finding that sweet spot where everything just flows. It's about the roots we put down as much as the spaces we fill. In this dance of being and becoming, we’re all just seeking that place where we can thrive, seed, and share. So, here’s to the journey, the growth, and the moments shared around the fire—where we all feed and are fed, in more ways than one.
24’ you’ve just begun; and so far you’ve been so full of serendipitous moments and beautiful surprises! We can’t believe we missed a moment with the ever-so-beautiful who took what we are SURE was limited time on her visit to NYC to dine, provide kind words of encouragement, support, and bless us with that beautiful smile of hers here at . Me (Nicole)The Lord knows why I wasn’t here, because I wouldn’t have been able to make it through a single conversation without a river of wholehearted tears. Our staff and family members who were there were speechless! And said, I quote. “She’s so sweet! And her smile just lights everything up!” we couldn’t have been more honored🖤 If you think her light is bright on that screen! In real life, forget about it! Thank you Aunty Tab! You are more than inspiring, and we are FULL with gratitude💫🙏🏾
