Meet Maricela, or as I like to call her, “mi florecita” (my flower). She truly is a gift from heaven! Maricela hails from Oaxaca and, like many of us, came to the U.S. in search of a brighter and better future. Last year, she responded to a Facebook post we shared as we were preparing to embark on yet another exciting dream—joining Smorgasburg. From the moment we met her, we knew she was something special.

Maricela is not only incredibly hardworking, but she also has a heart of gold, impeccable work ethic, and a wonderfully positive outlook on life. When you visit us for breakfast, be sure to share a warm smile with her. We’re thrilled to welcome her to the CONSUELO family!
