Addressing the stigma around clinical trials in certain communities is something that is extremely important to us at Aruvant. We continue to look for ways to diversify our clinical trial population and eliminate barriers to health services and quality care for all patients. Factors such as mistrust of the medical community, socioeconomic standing, and lack of access to transportation, have long contributed to groups such as women and African Americans often being underrepresented in biomedical research clinical trials. Patient education is a key aspect for informing patients about clinical trial participation and the availability of investigational therapies that could potentially be transformative.
