In honor of National Children’s Dental Health Month in February we are distributing over 2,300 toothbrushes !!!! These are going to children in the community. Here’s a snapshot from one of our numerous visits to neighborhood schools, where we provided hundreds of bags for the students. 🪥🦷✨

What side does your child chew on? Many people have a dominant “chewing side,” while others munch on both sides equally. Researchers aren’t sure exactly why. Genetics usually determines whether a person is left or right-handed, but chewing side seems to be chosen subconsciously. Sometimes, a preference for one side over the other may mean there is discomfort or pain on the other side. While this isn’t usually a problem with young children, if you have any concerns, we encourage your questions at your child’s next appointment!

Crunchy veggies like broccoli, cauliflower, and brussels sprouts can prevent bacteria from sticking to teeth and promote dental health due to their vitamins and minerals. Add them to your family meals for a healthy smile!

Q: Why did the king go to the dentist? A: To get his teeth crowned!

Keep your child's smile shining bright! Here’s the game plan: Brush twice daily for 2 minutes, floss daily, limit sugary drinks, and visit our office for regular checkups!

Brushing with your child helps ensure they are brushing regularly and models good oral health. Teach by example!
