Over 1600 intermediate and secondary schools in Lebanon are in danger of closing. This puts 700,000 students, 59,000 teachers and 15,000 school administrators at risk of being shut out of an education or a job.
The economic crisis in Lebanon is not only affected peoples live today but can impact the future generations ability to create a better future.
The Lady of Lebanon stands high in the mountains reminding us that the young girls of Lebanon deserve the chance to be held in high-esteem. As Lebanon is plunged further into economic despair the education gender gap only grows wider.
The Lebanese Cedar grows tall and waves proudly on the flag of the nation. We make sure that Lebanese children can also grow and make the nation proud.
The ubiquitous stone house of the Lebanese mountains is built with a strong foundation and is meant to last generations. The Lebanese youth are the foundation of the nation and with a proper education they can stand proud and endure the current hardships.
The LEF says hi from Turtle Bay as we raise funds to pay students tuitions in Lebanon.
We are directly paying students tuition on a case-by-case basis. We will not give up on Lebanon and we will especially not give up on the nation's sons and daughters.
