Another awesome seller is making the move out of state! They have been here for decades and decided it was time to make a big move south. A few bumps in the road at the final hour but in the end it's closed. They are on their way to their brand-new construction home! Congratulations & it was wonderful working together.

Are you ready for a behind the scenes real estate funny story? Covering a home inspection for someone on vacation. Buyer uses the bathroom in the first 5 min (why does it always have to be bathroom issues) anyway, buyer comes out and says, "excuse me. Please come here." I walk over. The tank (not the toilet) is overflowing.

I take off the top of the tank and no issues. I start recording to send it to the agent to show a leak, and flush the toilet. Well the hose isn't hooked up where it goes into the top of the toilet bowl contraption. Think of an out of control garden hose when you turn on the water. So now the hose is going crazy. I'm getting wet. The walls, floor, everything until I can put the hose into the tank.

My OCD kicks in. Mind you I don't know the house. So now to find papertowels, whatever to clean up. The toilet paper roll is soaked. I finally clean everything up. Show the buyer it's all fixed. I sit down to do some work and my phone is still wet. LOL

I have washed my hands multiple times at this point and now Cloroxed my phone. 😅😅😅😅

If you ever find yourself when the tank is leaking from the top WHATEVER YOU DO make sure that hose is connected before flushing. 😅
