RETREAT IN THE CITY: We transformed this dated apartment with a galley kitchen into an open concept with tons of texture and small punches of black for an edge. The wood tones throughout provide depth and warmth as a baseline to all of the neutral layers throughout. The goal was maximizing the window views, seating and overall functionality of the space. It was so important to our client for the fabrics to be light, so we opted for performance fabrics to make sure everything was both red wine AND kid friendly.
