IT’S TIME TO BRAAI! 🔥🍖🥩🥪🥂🍻🇿🇦🇺🇸

The world may be an uncertain place right now, but we do know one thing: nothing beats gathering with our friends and neighbors to fill our glasses with delicious wine and our tummies with scrumptious food off the grill. This “Barbecue” is known in South Africa as a Braai - and we are going to do our American best to pull one off on West Broadway!

Please join us on SUNDAY NOVEMBER 17th for one last hurrah in our beloved outdoor shed. We will be grilling sausages, lamb ribs, veggies, & broodjies (you want these, TRUST ME) plus serving curry with a plethora of South African wines open to wash it all down with.

Braai starts at 1pm, however we will be showing the South Africa vs Scotland Rugby match beginning at 11am!

Sorry, but unless your recipe is also your Great Grandfathers, who immigrated to Chicago early in the 20th century and was *literally* of the community that developed this iconic sandwich then don’t even try to challenge ( yours was better than others I’ve seen online but still needs some tweaking)

Regardless, we are super psyched to see the dish get the wider recognition it has long deserved! And we can’t wait to put this classic ITALIAN-AMERICAN dish up for you post holiday. Come on, America, that’s something to celebrate! 🙌🇺🇸💥
