Come see “Lolo’s Boyfriend Show” Live at Starring Lauren O’Brien July 5th, 6th, 12th and 14th!!!
-
-
Lolo lands a dream-come-true European tour with her punk cabaret show. But when it gets canceled after just a few weeks, she’s forced to pack up her funky costumes and red platform boots and drag them back to her mom’s house in suburbia. Lolo thought she’d be famous and happily married by now. Her Psychic Therapist told her she would be. Instead, she doesn’t even have a job. She’s stuck in her childhood bedroom, tormented by the remnants of many failed relationships. A tempting invitation from The British Guy she met on tour could be her ticket to a happier life. He’s different from all the others. He takes showers. He hasn’t asked her for money. He didn’t bring a stripper on any of their dates. But his attempts to woo end up triggering a traumatic trip through boyfriends past. From The Yogi to The Texter to The Addict, Lolo’s penchant for attracting the bizarre really cuts her up. As she grapples with her ghosts, Lolo has a radical realization: maybe…just maybe…she has a different path to happiness in this world…

Comedy is Alive and Well at . Come see Jude Treder-Wolff in “FASTER” LIVE on July 6th and 7th!!!
-
-
The pace of change is picking up speed. We’re gonna need a bigger brain. FASTER, written and performed by storyteller, comic, improviser and creative arts therapist Jude Treder-Wolff, is about the impact of the world transforming faster - and more often - than our brains are built to process, and.why comedy is part of the cure. Directed by Suzanne Bachner, FASTER threads the personal with the universal, using hilarious stories about a long-term struggle to understand her partner’s exactly opposite approach to change, to explore what love has to do with expanding into a future that will definitely be improvised.

Come See Adam LeBow in “Fanatical Optimism” Live at July 13th-14th!!!
-
This compelling solo show is a comic rant, a heartfelt lament, and an earnest confession rolled into one, in which Adam looks at the state of the world and asks, ‘how did my generation allow it to get this way?’ Confronting our current “polycrisis” can feel overwhelming; Adam processes it all in a way that is as entertaining as it is insightful.
