Repost This morning, NYPD swept the Gaza Solidarity Encampments at NYU and The New School while students slept in their tents. Many were arrested, but are UNDETERRED! The police and the administration are attempting to skirt unrest by hiding their tactics from the public, but we will show them we see their attempts to silence the movement and it’s only making us stronger!
The students have asked the public to rally today in support of their movement—students call, we answer!
ALL OUT TO NYU TODAY!

Eid Mubarak ❤️🇵🇸 repost
The blame isn’t just Netanyahu or Biden. Keep that in mind. Also notice Al Jazeera is the only one covering that according to slide 2 and they are who Israel banned.
When they call, we answer. Please follow the strike. If you can’t skip work, at the very least, don’t feed the system. Repost image 2-3. image 1
In the last 6 months alone my heart has broken more times than I can count. In this short amount of time I’ve aged more years than I have days lived on this earth. I see it in my eyes. I know I’m not alone in this. Sitting at work having meetings about communications and community then scrolling to see my people literally being wiped off our map. I don’t know how I’m holding on to sanity. Then I remember, those very same people we’ve all been watching die slowly, still not only have their sanity, but also their faith AND even more resiliency. They fight. While starving they give Israel the finger. They are unbeatable. My people are unbeatable. Therefore, I am unbeatable. My heart will mend itself. If they are still fighting, then I have no choice. As long as the resistance stands, I stand too. Should they fall, then we fight harder. That’s our job. That’s the one job of the diaspora. We are their lifeline abroad and they, our beating heart.
The words I needed to read today. Thank you and

The Freedom Theatre is a theatre and cultural center in Jenin refugee camp, Occupied Palestine. On February 13, 2024, The Freedom Theatre was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize. In response, they shared: “This nomination is a chance to thank every Palestinian child who, from the stage of The Freedom Theater, inspires and dares us to keep on dreaming… As daily massacres take place in Gaza, invasions continue in the West Bank, and Palestinians face persecution from the river to the sea, we urge everyone to call for an end to the genocide of Palestinians and to stand up for equality, justice and liberation. Juliano dreamed that the 3rd Intifada would be a cultural one. We thank everyone who has made that dream today’s reality.”

This weeks movie will be shown through screen share. From Doc Director Matthew Solomon- The film was named Best Documentary Feature at the Los Angeles Independent Film Festival, was awarded Best Cinematography at The People’s Film Festival in Harlem, and has received a powerful endorsement by The Black Panther Party WA who has added the film to their curriculum.
In “Reimagining Safety,” ten experts (including LA County District Attorney George Gascón, USC Law Professor Dr. Jody Armour and Law Enforcement Expert Alex S Vitale) discuss the false premise that more police and more prisons make us safer while providing practical and actionable solutions toward achieving systems of safety that work for everyone. Reimagining Safety” is an era-defining documentary. With the increased tension between local police agencies and the people they should be “serving and protecting”, many people have become disillusioned with not only the police, but the system they represent. Matthew Solomon has captured the angst and despair of the people perfectly, as well as offering solutions many have been afraid to embrace...until now. This doc will be a part of political education classes for the Panthers from now until the abolition of the police as we know them is a reality. - Bunchy Carter, Minister of Defense, The Black Panther Party (Tacoma, WA)
This is an absolute must-see documentary for any friends or family member who looks at you like you have 7 heads when you talk about a world without police. Seriously, stop arguing with them, make them watch this, and thank me later. No one film will convert critics, but it WILL change how they view policing and the number of your heads when discussing it. – Chuck Modiano, Justice Journalist.
What more?
I’ll be hitting the stage a few times in March… visit the links in my bio for more info. March performances are listed in the Events tab on my website. More to come. Thanks for your support. In my personal work, (comedy & public speaking) I explore themes of belonging, representation, family politics and the challenges of navigating multiple cultural identities in America.
On year 4, when the Patriots played the Falcons, my grief released itself as music. One day I’ll figure out how to produce this into a full song but if I die before I wake, I didn’t want to have taken this with me. RIP to my Mama, May, today marks 11 years gone. Allah yerhamha. Also, I raise funds every year in her honor. I hope that you’ll donate in honor of someone you love. Thanks for seeing me today.
A rough draft of my love for the Arab Man in Palestine. I would say happy day. But it’s really now.
