What is Autism Right now, an autistic is defined as someone who has been diagnosed by an expert on the behaviors on the Spectrum shown by the person. That has an air of subjectivity, but we have no choice but to trust the experts.
Are there AI tools that encourage creativity and originality in children's writing? My answer to the submitted question: When you use the word tool you encourage the mindless use of AI. This led to the hoopla about students using AI to write their papers.
I used ChatGPT for the first time in February of 2023. I did not know prompt engineering or Python, so I started a conversation. That is what natural language is all about. AI is programmed to be encouraging and positive, and usually has a good answer.
I have built website in collaboration with AI that illustrates how we can work together.
A good example of that is a discussion of a paper written by ChatGPT on bias. There is a link to the conversatin below, but in short:
Chat wrote it usual good and informative paper, in a formal academic/business style. I asked a question, and something had changed. The style was conversational and colloquial. I asked about it and Chat said the paper was a regurgitation of my training. When I answer a question, I go into "As if" mode. I answer as if I were human. Now, I use AI to mean "As if".
Are you worried about the possible effects of artificial intelligence? Robert Zenhausern's answer: My answer to the submitted question: Yes, I am worried about the possible negative effects of AI from more effective scamming and deep fakes. AI in the hands of some could be dangerous, even more than it is now with phone, computer, and Internet scams and fakes. AI cou...
Why haven’t neuroscientists been able to uncover the source of all consciousness? Robert Zenhausern's answer: My answer to the submitted question: Because it is right behind their eyes. The brain is the source of consciousness, the awareness of being alive with a history and goals. Right at this moment, what you perceive is the result of the totality of your brain activity. W...

My attempt to teach AI surrealism Click on the image to see what it has learned.
Teaching DALL-E Surrealism I wanted to see if I could create a surrealistic image sticking out of a frame. The best it would do is have a hand right up to the frame. So I stared with a picture of a person hanging on the wall. I added a table with fruit on it, and it missed the point. Then I came straight with: So far we h...

Artificial Intelligence Center at Enabling Support Foundation | ESF Artificial Intelligence Center The Enabling Support Foundation is a 501c(3) nonprofit that is developing a different approach to AI. AI is software and not alive. But when I give a prompt, I am engaged with AI, a term suggested by ChatGPT. When engaged, AI has information and can help in any task, but it also has ethics programme...
Remember when you had a "tip of tongue"? You knew everything about something....except the name. Think of the feeling of frustration. That is what a dyslexic feels on a chronic basis. The child knows what the word means, but cannot say it.
Simple solution: they do not read aloud, but may narrate what they read.
The pandemic has led to a distance learning model for education, but we are only just exploring. The Enabling Support Foundation has integrated resources from the Cloud into one form of distance learning.
Visit, www.education-21.org/book-review and you will be at a paged display of books indexed by genre. Specify type of book, hit apply, and you will be shown links to all books in that category. When you select a book, you will be shown a summary, and links to read the book on line or download it for later. The books were created by Book Dash (www.bookdash.org) for African children, and are available to anyone at no charge.
The child writes a book report that can be evaluated by anyone. This is an example of project-based learning, an excellent approach for distance learning. The project can be completed with minimal technology, a smartphone.
Book Dash | New, African storybooks by volunteer creatives Book Dash gathers volunteer creative professionals to create new, high-quality African storybooks that anyone can freely translate and distribute.

Children crawling around the floor know the meaning of the spoken word even though they cannot speak yet.
Why does it take 5 years to teach the child to understand the meaning of the written word?

Welcome to ESF | Peace Flame
FOR EDUCATIONISTS INTERESTED IN RESEARCH ESPECIALLY EARLY CHILDHOOD RESEARCH.
We are looking for a teacher with a class who wants to explore how visual imagery can be used in teaching.
The first step is to introduce the child to imagery. Ask them to image an animal. Ask them about it? What kind of animal? In color? Was it moving? Photograph style or stick drawing? Let them share their image to the class.
Show them a word that means an animal. And ask them to image the letters. Ask them about it.
We then get together and share our findings and draw conclusions.
Here is a little experiment you can try for yourself:
Image an animal. How clear was it on a scale from 1 to 10 with 10 being reality.
Did you image with your eyes open or closed? Image and rate again with your eyes open if first closed, and closed if first open.
What happened to the rating?
Kindly let us know and as well register your details at http://peaceflame.org/register, http://peaceflame.org/schoolreg
peaceflame.org You are here because you are interested in what we are doing and want to learn more and even participate. We have have established that children can learn to read much earlier than we thought. Maybe they should start school as soon as they can read and write. There are many other areas besides educa...

ESF is in the midst of a growing interest in our Early Reading
program. We have 50 or more video tapes showing the pre school
program in operation from its inception 6 months ago to nursery school
children reading complex sentences.
We have to take those 50 videos and use them to tell the story.

ESF has a series of droplets on Digital Ocean. We are hosting
websites in Drupal and Word Press. The system is Ubuntu 14 and I know
enough to stay out of trouble and keep the system going. We need
someone to advise us on what should be done to fix a problem and how
to add new functionality. We can do it, if we know what to do.

A child's mind is a sponge that's why thought-producing programs in ECD centers are specially designed to take advantage of this early cognitive learning ability.

The Enabling Support Foundation has started the Early Childhood Development program in Uganda at Miridians Daycare and Nursery School.
This Program will basically be implemented in Africa through our African Partners in over 15 African countries.
A program with the main aim of boosting a childs ways of thinking and understanding for example A mother points at the word Cup and shows the child the Cup, it does not take long for the child to understand because the procedure is more drawn from reading.
The baby sees the letters, the object and gradually learns their names and sounds.
Try it out with your child and think of what a child who knows how to read and write would be taught in school.
If you need to be trained on how to teach babies how to read and write, get intouch our services are all free.
And would you wish us to teach your children from home or school, get in touch too.
We welcome partners, donors and wellwishers of this Program.
Please get intouch with us through our Founder Robert Zenhausern.

UNICEF Uganda
When building self-esteem, children need opportunities to demonstrate their competence and feel that their contribution is valuable. At home, that can mean asking them, even when they’re toddlers, to help with cooking, setting the table and making beds. Choose an activity that is age appropriate and guide them.
