This morning, Bay Ridge Cares joined in honoring the dedication of Joanne Seminara Way at the corner of 78th Street and Ridge Boulevard. Joanne, a beloved member of Bay Ridge, dedicated her life to making our community inclusive and open to diverse voices, experiences, and perspectives. Her steadfast commitment to our neighborhood was truly inspiring, and we hold her contributions in the highest regard. She was a volunteer extraordinaire! Her husband Pierre said it best "This street is being named in Joanne's honor, not because this is WHERE she lived, but because of HOW she lived."
