Join the Department of Athletics as we cheer on Women’s Track & Field student-athlete Avery Maillet, as she competes for a National Championship at the 2018 NCAA DIII Outdoor Track & Field Championships in La Crosse, Wisconsin.

The viewing party will be held on Thursday, May 24 in the Hoffman Atrium starting at 4:15 pm. Avery’s event will begin promptly at 4:45 pm.

Snacks and Drinks will be provided.

Avery is currently ranked #1 in the nation in the long jump with a mark of 6.06 meters and is just one inch short of tying the No. 10 NCAA DIII all-time mark.
This week, Avery was also named the USTFCCCA NCAA DIII Women’s National Athlete of the Week, the first to do so in CCNY's outdoor program history.
If unable to attend, but would like to watch Avery compete, use the links below.

WEDNESDAY, APRIL 26TH 2017 |

What is Denim Day? The Denim Day campaign was originally triggered by a ruling where a r**e conviction was overturned because they felt that since the victim was wearing jeans she must have helped her ra**st remove her jeans, thereby implying consent. Wearing jeans on Denim Day has become a symbol of protest against erroneous and destructive attitudes about sexual assault.
