In November, Reboot Democracy hosted Reboot: Leveling the Playing Field at the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute. The founders of Motivote, Govern for America, and BallotBox shared what they are working on and we heard from a diverse group of expert speakers including Former CIA Officer, White House Advisor, & Elections Integrity Expert, Yael Eisentat, Democracy Works' TurboVote Program Director, Mike Ward, and State Committeeman and Founder of ShiftSpark, Ben Yee among others. The founders of Whistleblower Aid, It Starts Today, Reach App, CVX Civic Engagement App, VoteWithMe, and Tuesday Company shared what they are working on and we heard from a diverse group of expert speakers including Adam Ambrogi (Director of the Elections Program at the Democracy Fund), Bob Lamb (Founder & CEO of the Foundation for Inclusion), Michelle Bishop (Disability Advocacy Specialist for Voting Rights at the Disability Rights Network), and Evan Burfield (CEO of Union.vc and Co-Founder of 1776). Then we opened up the mic to anyone who wanted to pitch an idea they were excited about before we broke into networking.
