The Flensted Mobiles fairytale is based on two straws and three paper storks…🕊

This was what Christian Flensted cut out and assembled in 1953 for his daughter’s christening.

The result was the stork mobile, which was only conceived of as being a fun and personal gift 🎁 and ended up as the prelude to Flensted Mobiles and to this day remains in production.
