We have some news to share with our beloved community. After a decade of unforgettable moments, we've made the tough business decision to close our taproom in Coney Island on Nov. 9.

Throughout this difficult process, our coworkers will remain our top priority, and we're committed to supporting each of them as they chart their future paths. To our cherished community partners, and to every incredible guest who has visited our taproom over the past 10 unforgettable years, there are not enough words to encapsulate our gratitude. Whether you danced like a Mermaid in the streets, rocked out to live performances, or shared a tale or two over a pint, you've made our journey truly special – THANK YOU for the countless memories.

While the taproom may be closing, our commitment to offering some of your favorite Coney Island brews continues. Rest assured, you will still be able to get favorites like Mermaid Pilsner and Merman IPA in bars, restaurants, and retail locations across New York.

We know this isn't easy to read, and it's even harder for us to say, but we've still got a lot of great stuff planned for the next few weeks. And we'd be honored to see you one more time to share a round and bid a fond farewell. Cheers to you all and here's to the memories that will last a lifetime.

WEATHER UPDATE: Coney Island Creature Crawl Rescheduled to Sunday, 10/15

Due to inclement weather, we've decided to postpone the Creature Crawl to Sunday, 10/15.

As a reminder, the gathering begins at the taproom at 1pm, where the creepiest creatures will assemble to embark on this eerie boardwalk expedition -- visiting participating bars to celebrate with seaside libations!

The HONK NYC live brass band performance on W 12th St. is currently TBD due to the weather. Make sure to follow HONK NYC for more information and updates.

Prepare to embrace the supernatural and get ready for an unforgettable experience this Sunday and may the Coney Island weather deities bless us with rain-free skies for our rescheduled adventure!

All culminating in a spectacular outdoor street brass band invasion, courtesy of HONK NYC, right outside the hallowed grounds of the Coney Island USA Freak Bar.
