Isaiah 40:28-31
Do you not know?
Have you not heard?
The LORD is the everlasting God,
the Creator of the ends of the earth.
He will not grow tired or weary,
and his understanding no one can fathom.
He gives strength to the weary
and increases the power of the weak.
Even youths grow tired and weary,
and young men stumble and fall;
but those who hope in the LORD
will renew their strength.
They will soar on wings like eagles;
they will run and not grow weary,
they will walk and not be faint.

As I Face My Process and Formation:
Pastor Frank Casado
“I’m Not Done Yet”
The following are Truths that have kept me as I faced my process throughout my life journey. Even up to this very day. Together with the realization of having to endure the process of others and it’s effect on me as they had to deal with there own development and growth throughout their journeys.
Proverbs 4:23-27
“My son, be attentive to my words;
incline your ear to my sayings.
Let them not escape from your sight;
keep them within your heart.
For they are life to those who find them,
and healing to all their flesh.
Keep your heart with all vigilance,
for from it flow the springs of life.
Put away from you crooked speech,
and put devious talk far from you.
Let your eyes look directly forward,
and your gaze be straight before you.
Ponder the path of your feet;
then all your ways will be sure.
Do not swerve to the right or to the left;
turn your foot away from evil.”
No matter how many years have passed and the countless times I have read this passage it is vital for me to apply today and for the days to come.
It’s easy to succumb to the insurmountable pressure that has been wieghing on our shoulders as years pass by. But I have witnessed that Gods words can strengths both our spiritual and physical ankles, knees, hips, spine, shoulders, arms, neck, minds, and hearts so to endure the force and duress that are trying to crush us. Undeniably it should had shattered us long ago. But through God’s mercy and grace, His Spirit and word has upheld and strengthen us through it all.
2Corinthians 4:7-11
“But we have this treasure in jars of clay, to show that the surpassing power belongs to God and not to us. We are afflicted in every way, but not crushed; perplexed, but not driven to despair; persecuted, but not forsaken; struck down, but not destroyed; always carrying in the body the death of Jesus, so that the life of Jesus may also be manifested in our bodies. For we who live are always being given over to death for Jesus' sake, so that the life of Jesus also may be manifested in our mortal flesh.”
Romans 8:35-39
“Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or danger, or sword? As it is written,
“For your sake we are being killed all the day long;
we are regarded as sheep to be slaughtered.”
No, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us. For I am sure that neither death nor life, nor angels nor rulers, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height nor depth, nor anything else in all creation, will be able to separate us from the love of God in Christ Jesus our Lord.”
How can we keep our hearts and minds during these times as we confront our process?
1. We need to return to God’s word not matter how many times we have read it. His word is a cleansing agent that washes out minds, renews us. His word transforms us from weakness to strength. His word comforts us and causes us to rest in the power of the Holy Spirit.
2. We need to return to our first love with our Heavenly Father. Remember constantly the work that Jesus has done for us. He made a way for us and has given us the opportunity to personally know the Heavenly Father. To be able to see The Father of glory face to face and encounter His loving grace.
3. Yield to the fashioning of the Holy Spirit. Trusting in the word of the Lord. Allowing His word to take its complete work in our hearts. Yield to His love. Trust His process as He is translating us from darkness to His glorious light. Remember He is working and forming Christ in us.
Treasure this in your hearts, we are being prepare daily for the day of the Lords coming.
Finally, it’s been a process and I find myself having to return to the Heart of God. The key that quickens my heart to remember God when darkness want to over take and rule me has been this reality, He is the one who reaches out. No matter how fast or far I think I can run or go… He is standing right behind me calling my name and simply leading me back to Himself.
As I face my process, I pray this can be a constant encouragement to you.
I recall these truths found in God’s word:
Colossians 3:1-
“If then you have been raised with Christ, seek the things that are above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. For you have died, and your life is hidden with Christ in God. When Christ who is your life appears, then you also will appear with him in glory.
Put to death therefore what is earthly in you: sexual immorality, impurity, passion, evil desire, and covetousness, which is idolatry. On account of these the wrath of God is coming. In these you too once walked, when you were living in them. But now you must put them all away: anger, wrath, malice, slander, and obscene talk from your mouth. Do not lie to one another, seeing that you have put off the old self with its practices and have put on the new self, which is being renewed in knowledge after the image of its creator. Here there is not Greek and Jew, circumcised and un uncircumcised, barbarian, Scythian, slave, free; but Christ is all, and in all.
Put on then, as God's chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassionate hearts, kindness, humility, meekness, and patience, bearing with one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in your hearts, to which indeed you were called in one body. And be thankful. Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and admonishing one another in all wisdom, singing psalms and hymns and spiritual songs, with thankfulness in your hearts to God. And whatever you do, in word or deed, do everything in the name of the Lord Jesus, giving thanks to God the Father through him.”
Family, beloved, I pray we will all find ourselves standing and yet standing strong. I’m not perfect but yet I still strive toward His word to be fashioned in me. As Paul teaches me… “I press on toward the goal” I press on daily until the Day I meet Jesus face to face. May He know me and wipe my tears away on that great and glorious Day.
