Did you ever think that flexibility is an unlearned skill that some people are born with? We're here to dispel myths and teach you how to become more flexible by demonstrating how.
Anyone, with a little effort, can learn to be more flexible. It's all due to the muscles stretching and the nervous system relaxing. A hyperactive or sensitive nervous system will tighten the muscle, preventing it from stretching as far as it can. To remedy this, perform workouts that overload the nervous system, increasing your stretch tolerance and flexibility.
"Cycling stretching," which involves holding a stretch for 3-5 seconds at a time and repeating 10-15 times, is the most effective way to develop flexibility.
