The body is the source from where we feel, define and contain life experiences as they happen.
Sometimes words are not enough to express one's true experience of emotions. While the mind is too busy, it clouds true experience and leads us into doing what we think we "should" be doing. When attending to your body's experience, you will discover more about yourself and what you really need in life, and begin to live from an authentic, and richer place in which you truly reside.

The path from criticism to compassion
is curiosity
Something to think about. Our body IS part of nature.
"Attention to the body gives way to identifying a sensation that might or might not be connected with an emotion. The emotion then helps to form personal meaning. Once meaning is made, cognition is satisfied, and the body’s physiology recalibrates.
This is the basis for somatic psychotherapy."

"Mindfulness
is but a step
toward embodiment"
Hi Everyone,
I am thinking about starting an embodiment group that focuses on how to become more embodied, ((including all of the difficulties in doing so!) It will be more instructive and less "therapy" (however, they sometimes do intersect!). I'm thinking about an online group that meets Monday late afternoon (EST) or Friday afternoons (EST).
Do let me know if you are interested by sending an email to [email protected]
Thanks!

Abandonment happens on a somatic level of awareness
Not trusting others makes you untrustworthy (think about it).

And this...
May all the healers of the earth find their own healing. May they be fueled by passionate love for the earth.
May they know their fear but not be stopped by fear. May they feel their anger and yet not be ruled by rage. May they honor their grief but not be paralyzed by sorrow.
May they transform fear, rage, and grief into compassion and the inspiration to act in service of what they love.
May they find the help, the resources, the courage, the luck, the strength, the love, the health, the joy that they need to do the work.
May they be in the right place, at the right time, in the right way.
May they bring alive a great awakening, open a listening ear to hear the earth's voice, transform imbalance to balance, hate and greed to love.
Blessed be the healers of the earth. 🌍
