With heavy hearts, we share the heartbreaking loss of Omar, our beloved chef and friend, who recently passed away due to a heart stroke. Omar was more than a chef—he was a warm and generous soul, a mentor, and a cherished part of the Balade family.

Omar leaves behind his loving wife and five children in Jordan, whom he worked tirelessly to support. As they face this immense loss, we’re coming together to help. Please consider donating, any amount will go directly to his family to ease their financial burdens during this difficult time.

For the past ten years, Omar was more than a chef to us; he was family, a mentor, and an inspiration to everyone at Balade. His warmth, talent, and spirit touched us deeply, and his presence will be profoundly missed. Omar’s legacy and passion will continue to be felt in every dish and every corner of our restaurant, reminding us always of his love and dedication.

In his honor, we will be closed on Monday, October 28th, as we come together to remember and celebrate his life. Thank you for your understanding during this difficult time.
