In his interview, Philippe opens up about his journey from arriving in New York as a 14-year-old refugee from Lebanon to creating Ilili in the Flatiron District. He noticed the city lacked the authentic Lebanese flavors he missed so much and decided to take a leap, bringing a taste of home to Manhattan.
